Chum started in 2011 as a Childcare Centre, with a mission to redeem toddlers from the hands of unqualified home-based caregivers and provide them with a sanctuary in a safe, clean, welcoming and fun-filled environment. Two years later in 2014, Chum transitioned into an International Christian School using the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum, motivated by the need to give children
quality and genuine Christian education that they need to face the realities of life. Beyond giving our pupils the academic training they need to get into high profiled jobs and be successful, we provide them with Godly character training to ensure excellence not only in academics but also in life. It is our conviction that children need Godly character to sustain them where excellence in academia places them, and we are dedicated to seeing each pupil discover their God-given destiny. Chum professes its belief in God and in the authenticity and authority of His Word, the Bible. Our staff and pupils are trained to uphold six core values of: Professionalism, Respect, Excellence, Godliness, Integrity and Hard work (P.R.E.G.I.H). At Chum we believe in the ultimate worth of every child; and respect and seek to reflect God’s view of each child’s uniqueness and individuality. Many other activities are offered to ensure the holistic education of our pupils. In addition to our core curriculum, we offer specialized training in art, music, dance and drama, physical education, foreign languages, computer, public speaking and other skills.
