The Academic Registrar of MTBI Teacher Training School invites qualified Students (Upgraders & Direct Entrants) to apply to undertake the following In-service and Pre-service Courses;

1. Makerere University Diploma in Primary Teachers Education (DPTE) Strictly for Grade III Teachers' Certificate Holders who wish to upgrade.

2. Makerere University Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Development (DECE) for ECE Certificate Holders who wish to upgrade or Direct Entrant from A Level)

3. Makerere University Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) for Students who passed at least 6 Subjects including English at O Level (March Intake for Pre-service Students & May Intake for In-service Students only)

4. Makerere University Child Care (CC) Certificate for Primary Seven Graduates or those who didn't get the Minimum Academic Entry Requirements for ECE (March & May Intake only)

All the above Programmes are conducted under Makerere University Institute of Teacher Education and Research (MITER) & Makerere University College of Education and External Studies) running both in Pre-service & In-service Arrangements
