Sports play an important part in character building. In recognition of the need to inculcate the sporting spirit in children, Alpha Kindergarten And Day Care Centre school organizes the Annual Sports Day for children and this year it took place on Saturday 29 April 2023. The event provided an ideal opportunity for the children to demonstrate their prowess in various sporting disciplines. The students came in colour coded sports attire.

Yellow - Dove
Red - Robin
Green - Crane

The Sporting extravaganza commenced with the school assembly and parade by the children. This was followed by the different sports competitions by the different colour parties and classes.

The parents enthusiastically cheered on as the students took to the track to compete with their peers. A fitting finale to the day was a display by a few students who showcased their Ballet dancing, and football skills.

The Sports Day helped children explore their hidden sports interests, to build confidence and to inculcate a desire to learn new skills by watching their peers.

Finally the results were released with Dove (Yellow) taking it all as they were crowned winners of the day.

It was a fun filled day for one and all.
