Former Vice Presidents, Dr Specioza Wandira Kazibwe, Prof. Gilbert Bukenya and former Prime Ministers Kintu Musoke and Amama Mbabazi are part of the five special guests invited by president Yoweri Museveni to the NRM’s National Executive Council meeting scheduled for Friday at State House Entebbe.

The people power cordinators convened in Kakiri for a workshop where alot of issues where discussed .

To our dismay at around 8pm we were surrounded by the military with enormous force who told us our meeting was illegal!

They switched off the lights of the place we were in and since there were no cameras or journalists anything could have happened.

Hon. Kyagulanyi, myself and other leaders managed to escape to safety but the military continued combing the place we were at and also the whole of Kakiri looking for us.

We condemn this form of impunity and total disregard of the law!
How can citizens not be allowed to hold a workshop in a hotel that they paid for?

All this is being done to frustrate our efforts but they should know we are more determined than ever and the clock is ticking. Tick! tock!
Nothing can hold us back.
