One Day, Faith Will Make It Day One

One of my acquaintances recently explained to some colleagues why he was waiting to marry. He felt he needed financial stability first, an income that could handle any situation. He gave an example of a friend who had to spend between UGX 500,000 and UGX 700,000 on a sick child’s treatment for an infection (as many of us hear nowadays).

This got me thinking, and I imagined a world where only those with wealth could make it through. A wealthy parent might take their child to a top hospital like Nakasero, while a mother with less might go to a health center II, yet both children can recover.

Why? It’s not just the hospital; it’s faith—the faith that “my child will get better at either hospital A or B,” believing that God will do His part.

Faith is what keeps us going, pushing forward, breaking boundaries, even when we aren’t certain. We hold on, not because we know the outcome, but because we believe that if we don’t give up, things will eventually work out.

Hebrews 11:1 puts it well: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Faith fuels hard work, commitment, and hope, reminding us that one day, all those efforts will finally bring us to Day One. So, my friend, hold on to faith and keep moving forward.

One day, one day, that day will come.

The Power of Feedback in Product Development and Service Delivery

Throughout my journey as a product manager, business analyst, and data analyst, I’ve discovered a powerful truth: feedback shapes success.

For anyone aiming to build a successful business, product or service delivery, feedback is essential.

It directs us, ensuring that we’re creating products people genuinely want and need.

Feedback can—and should—be gathered at every stage of product development.

However, it’s especially crucial during the building phase. Without it, we risk delivering a product that doesn’t connect with our audience.

Market research is foundational, but it’s only the first step. As you survey clients, be open to unexpected insights.

Many times, clients suggest ideas our team hadn’t considered. With thoughtful analysis, these ideas can shape a product that not only meets but exceeds their expectations.

The Value of Every Voice: It’s easy to brush off feedback when it’s just one person’s opinion, but every voice has value.

Statisticians may prefer data-backed decisions, yet sometimes the most valuable insights come from individual comments, even if they’re unconventional.

No suggestion is too small to consider. If a feature or service enhancement won’t delay the project, consider adding it. This extra step often makes clients feel truly valued.

Feedback as a Strategic Tool: To achieve project success, every business should establish a system for collecting, managing, and using feedback.

Don’t limit it to post-launch; feedback from friends, team members, and even strangers can be useful at every stage.

Often, we overlook input from those closest to us, but all perspectives are valuable. When in doubt, seek a second opinion to gain a broader view.

For organizations, feedback isn’t just a tool—it’s part of both your data and business strategy.

Let’s stay committed, knowing feedback will keep us aligned with our goals.

God bless you all!
Cheers!
