Friends, we have an important story to share—the journey of GetoVoices.

In early 2022, our founder, Tomusange David, and a small group of organized youth sat down with a simple but profound goal: to truly understand and amplify the lives of people in Ghetto communities. We knew that observation wasn't enough; we needed to hear directly from the source. We hosted X Spaces (then Twitter) to let our neighbors in Masaka, Karamoja, and West Nile air out their situations to the world.

The kindness of strangers was overwhelming. Within eight months, we had raised enough money to feed countless families and saw our team grow to ten dedicated members. Despite this incredible success, we faced internal challenges that compromised our mission's integrity, leading to the difficult decision to temporarily close the group.

But the need for our work never stopped. We are now back, stronger, more organized, and operating with enhanced oversight. Our commitment to social responsibility is what drives us.

Introducing the GetoVoices 3E Initiative:

• Eat: We provide essential sustenance to those who face the daily challenge of hunger.

• Environment: We plant trees to combat environmental degradation and promote a sustainable future. (Target: 20M trees)

• Educate: We equip community members with essential life skills to navigate and improve their basic living conditions.
