Excellent Vocational Institute is an institution of higher learning that is registered at registrar of companies’ office and has opened doors in Uganda to offer an exceptionally unique education services. It is located in Wakiso District-Bweyogerere. The institute is a private institution built on a single– campus model to teach more practical courses delivered to students in both rural and urban communities. The institute is here in Uganda to creatively and innovatively deliver vocational and business education to rural and urban communities to generate strong and well developed human capital base which is a key requirement for any person, community or nation to develop.
Our students are mainly from rural areas such as farmers, cattle keepers, elders, youth, business owners at village level and other vulnerable people like the lame, orphans, street kids and widows who would love to acquire pragmatic vocational education but are hampered by high tuition, relocating and other related challenges. These community members require to be lifted up in order to individually contribute to their personal and national development. Excellent Vocational Institute intends to develop these individuals into highly knowledgeable, practically multi-skilled, talent driven and entrepreneurial/business minded graduates.
The institute believes that the process of developing the above mentioned attributes in the students leads them to acquire a higher capability state technically known as the state of “self supremacy”. The state of self supremacy means that an individual who attains it no longer needs any external assistance from parents, relatives and friend or government to achieve their dreams and aspirations.
PRACTICAL PROJECTS
The institute is practically training enrolled students in business, engineering, vocational, computer studies at certificate and diploma levels.

GOVERNANCE
The institute is governed by a global team of three members to ensure that it remains focused on its vision mission, objectives and core values. The institute consists of leadership, finance, management, and administration teams to address different issues at different levels. The above described education initiatives are being premiered in Uganda, being implemented by the national operations director, a team of three policy makers, three policy analysts, coordinators, teaching assistants and students mobilisers.
THE ROLE OF THE INSTITUTE
The major role of the institute is to impart knowledge, train practical skills, and deliver business and vocation focused education that will help in personal and national development at affordable prices. This will indeed bring about a harmonious, strong, well developed human capital base at grass root level as they all achieve wealth, success, happiness, health hence realizing their life achievements.

Increasing the number of people who are highly knowledgeable, practically multi skilled, talent driven, with entrepreneurial/business mind at grass root level which will in turn increase each individual’s production rate and therefore income and expenditure capacity resulting into an increased economic activities at grass root, national, continental and global level in exponential proportions, making the world a better place to live. This will also lead to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals in the remaining two years.
