APRIL INTAKE BURSARY OPEN
Bursary is available for all our Certificate, Diploma and Bachelor's programmes including our Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences and Biomedical Sciences.

Kindly take note of the following requirements:

- A photocopy of your KIU admission letter.
- Recommendation from District LC5, LC3 or Mayor.
- Pay the total bursary amount for your programme - 50% for programmes (1-3 years), 60% for programmes (4 years and above), and 80% for in-service programmes.
- Submit a photocopy of academic documents (S4 and above), including a bank slip of your half payment to the Bursary Office at any of our campuses. Attach one passport photo.
- Wait for a confirmation of the award letter from the bursary office.

NOTE: The bursary is FOR UGANDAN STUDENTS ONLY and is based on first come, first served. Submission of the above documents should be done by the student in-person.

Kampala International University, School of Law emerged victorious at the 2025 Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Competition on Saturday, March 22, 2025, after defeating Cavendish University in the finals.

The team excelled throughout the competition, achieving the highest preliminary round score (81.1%) against Makerere University, Islamic University of Uganda, and Cavendish University before winning against Cavendish University in the finals.

KIU will proudly represent Uganda in the Regional Rounds happening in Pretoria, South Africa, from May 22 to 23, 2025. The winner of this round will advance to the International Rounds in Australia later this year.
