As a organization, we place young people at the center of our solutions.

Dubai Cares recently publicized their "Framework for Global Education Transformation” which outlines four fundamental life pillars: values, knowledge, skills, and experience.

The framework also calls for using and building on existing evidence and examples of good practices in alternative education in order to support young people’s entry into formal learning, training, or employment

Nearly half of all secondary-age youth in East Africa are out of school. Through bootcamps built around the same core components of our in-school model – skills courses, practical experience, and mentorship – Educate! is building alternative pathways to employment for young people who cannot access traditional learning settings.

We are excited to engage with partners that share our values in creating opportunities that propel all youth towards a better and more sustainable future.

Currently, Ritah is a university student. In addition to teaching her peers about the benefits of becoming entrepreneurs, she continues using most of her business profits to fund her higher education. Ritah has grown both personally and professionally while contributing to her community.

According to Making Cents International most developing countries don’t offer many opportunities for youth to build entrepreneurship skills in school.

While the idea of being an entrepreneur may be exciting, it can also seem intimidating or risky. Young people may wonder how they can start their own business when they don't have any experience or training.

They may also worry about whether they have enough money to start a new enterprise and whether they have the skills needed to succeed as an entrepreneur.

At Educate! we work with youth in -school and out- of –school to help them develop essential skills for success in today’s economy. We do this by providing a skills course, peer mentorship, and guided practical experiences that allow them to build valuable skills, including communication, market research, and financial management.

Sarah's path to independence began when she was still in school. After her father passed away, Sarah’s family experienced so much tragedy. This experience taught her how important it is to become self-reliant early in life so that you can cope with life's hardships and emerge a winner.

Faced with limited opportunities, Sarah put the knowledge she learned from Educate! Into action. With this knowledge and skills coupled with her determination, Sarah not only finished secondary school and secured financial freedom but also inspired others in similar situations.

She ultimately dreamed of starting an orphanage where other children could feel supported and learn to be independent.

Today, Sarah is one step closer to this goal!

Young people have great potential to make a positive impact on their world, but they also face challenges that can limit their ability to realize this potential.

World Youth Skills Day promotes the importance of entrepreneurship, decent work, and employment for the youth globally. It also aims to provide an opportunity for young people to take action towards their own future through skills development activities at their local levels.

At Educate!, we work to provide youth with the opportunity to learn and practice the transferable, socioemotional, and entrepreneurial skills, such as critical thinking and financial literacy, that they will need to thrive in this reality, whether they seek employment or create their own businesses.

Join us in cheering on just a handful of the incredible young people we’re honored to be able to work with today! 📣✨

With the right support and resources, every young person has the ability to be entrepreneurial.

When you combine this mindset with exemplary teaching, real-world experience, and mentorship, you will create educated leaders who will change their lives and that of their communities for the better.

We’ve partnered with the Rwandan government to work towards a common goal: measurable impacts in youth outcomes, such as key transferable skills, educational attainment, and business ownership.

The program is designed to give students practical knowledge and skills that they can use to start a business. Students also develop a mindset that helps them to build the 21st-century skills that will enable them to succeed outside of the classroom.
