The health, safety and wellbeing of our learners, staff and wider community remain our highest priority.

In light of the Ministry of Health’s continued public health guidance regarding Ebola, we are committed to promoting awareness, prevention and early response through continuous education and community engagement.

As part of this effort, we have shared important Health Alert and Signs & Symptoms awareness materials with our school community to encourage vigilance, personal responsibility and adherence to recommended Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

We encourage all learners, parents, guardians, staff members and wider community to remain informed and to continue practicing key preventive measures, including:
- Regular handwashing and use of sanitizer
- Avoiding unnecessary physical contact
- Staying alert to possible signs and symptoms
- Seeking immediate medical attention in case of suspected illness
- Maintaining high standards of personal and community hygiene

We believe that creating a safe learning environment is a shared responsibility. Through awareness, preparedness and collective action, we can continue to protect and support one another while ensuring uninterrupted teaching and learning.

We thank our school community for the continued cooperation, vigilance and commitment to safeguarding the wellbeing of all.

As the Stanbic Bank National Schools Championship Season 11 Bootcamp draws to a close, we proudly celebrate the remarkable journey of our learners from Kabojja International School, who demonstrated exceptional creativity, teamwork, resilience and entrepreneurial thinking throughout the competition.

Competing among some of the brightest young innovators in the country, our team progressed to the Top 13 schools in the Central Region and proudly finished 7th overall. An achievement that reflects the strength of innovation and problem-solving culture we continue to nurture at Kabojja.

We are equally proud to share that three teams advanced to the final pitching stage, where they had the opportunity to present their ideas alongside the best-performing schools from across Uganda. Our journey concluded with a commendable 4th-place regional finish, a milestone that speaks volumes about the dedication, courage, and vision of our learners.

Our featured innovation, EduRydz, was developed to address one of the most pressing concerns for families and schools today, the safe transportation of learners. The initiative proposes a secure, student-centered transport platform that leverages verified riders, live tracking, accountability systems, and structured school transport solutions to create safer journeys for children every day.

At the heart of EduRydz is a simple but powerful belief:
“No child should ever be transported by a stranger.”

The project showcased not only entrepreneurial excellence, but also a strong sense of social responsibility and community impact. Values that remain central to the Kabojja learning experience.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our learners, mentors, teachers, parents, and partners who supported this journey and inspired our students to think boldly and lead confidently.

The future belongs to young people who dare to innovate and we are proud to see our learners already shaping solutions for tomorrow.

Kabojja International School remains committed to equipping our learners with the knowledge, skills and critical thinking abilities required to thrive in an increasingly digital and technology-driven world.

As part of this commitment, our learners recently participated in an engaging ICT presentation assessment centered on The System Life Cycle (SLC), a fundamental concept in Information and Communication Technology that explores the complete process of building, implementing and managing ICT systems.

During the presentation, learners confidently discussed the six key stages of the System Life Cycle, including:
• Analysis
• Design
• Development & Testing
• Implementation
• Documentation
• Evaluation & Maintenance

Through this academic exercise, students demonstrated their understanding of how technology solutions are researched, developed and continuously improved to solve real-world challenges. The assessment also provided an excellent platform for learners to strengthen important 21st-century competencies such as analytical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity and problem-solving.

The presentations were assessed by a distinguished panel of educators comprising Mr.Ssenyonga Derrick, our Key Stage 4 Coordinator, alongside Mr. Dzimba,Mr Nkugwa Denis and Mr Tumusiime Deus whose guidance and professional insights greatly enriched the learning experience.

This initiative reflects our broader vision of delivering a future-focused education that integrates academic excellence with practical, hands-on learning opportunities.

Kabojja International School strongly believes that empowering learners with digital literacy and technological awareness is essential in preparing them to become responsible global citizens and future leaders in the evolving world of technology.
