It is very unfortunate that our children have been sent back home. This, however, doesn't mean that they should just sit idle.
Enrol the young ones for our Holiday Skills Training at the PEDN Innovation Hub where they will definitely pick up a skill for a lifetime. "Give a man fish and you will feed him for a few hours. Teach him to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime!"
Let us equip the children with skills that they shall need to survive....

We observe all SOPs and admit only a limited number of trainees per cohort so we can adhere to social distancing during the training...

Today, as a facilitator i was challenged. There is nothing more inspiring than a group of young people who all know what they want and are already working towards it...
Each of the members of this team proudly showed off what they want, and how they have been saving since the beginning of the year for it: from as little as a pair of shoes to a dream as big as a studio! You go guys, we are so proud of the discipline and commitment you are putting to your dreams...

Experience sharing from some of the attendees of the Personal Flag Sharing, who are currently trying to do something in the business world...

Today at PEDN, we are hosting some of the young people in Kyanja District for a Personal Flag Training.
The purpose of this training is to raise self awareness among the youth of Kyanja in terms of Strengths, Weaknesses, Future Aspirations, Goal setting, Financial Literacy and Dream Realization...
We believe that this will help them to realize the problems that are hindering them from moving forward and to come up with solutions for these problems!!

Mothers are not the ones that never struggled.
