Njuba Foundation Uganda - NFU

The exact number of street children in Uganda is unknown but a recent study estimates that there are around 10,000 street children in Uganda, a 70% increase since 1993.

Njuba Foundation (NFU) is an Ugandan registered NGO with an overall mission to instill hope and improve the social and economic welfare of street children and other vulnerable groups.

NFU is currently seeking in-kind contributions, including kids’ playing materials for ages 8-18; clothes, shoes, office equipment, electronic gadgets etc. as well as swimming suits ages 5-16. Also books are much appreciated, either in English or Luganda.

Sharing a recent addition to our school, a new sleeping mat! We’re still hoping to buy one more so the kids can spread out and rest peacefully.
