After along protracted hustle to rescue our social media handles from the hackers, we are back in full swing to regularly update your friends, supporters and well wishers on how we are progressing as a school for children living with disabilities.
We are happy to inform you all that this second has seen us kickoff the long awaited hands on training ( apprenticeship) in two major trades; tailoring and craft and Art. This courtesy of Workaid,UK that donated to us the a few vocational kits ( Sewing machines, Shoe making and repair) a few years ago.
Through this program, we hope to empower all our children with at least one skill so that by the time they complete their primary education, they would be able to earn a living.
We continue to appeal to all who can help us with more tool kits so that each pupil can get a training tool during each session other than waiting in turn.
We need carpentry and joinery tools, plumbing, hair dressing, sewing machines
