St. Francis de Sales School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to read, learn, and dream—regardless of their background or ability. For our learners, many of whom face different forms of disability, access to books and learning materials is not just important—it is life-changing.
Today, we are taking a bold step toward strengthening literacy and learning by working to establish a well-stocked, inclusivelibrary for both our pupils and teachers. This library will be a safe and inspiring space filled with books, teaching aids, and digital learning tools that support diverse learning needs.
We warmly invite literacy partners join us in this mission.
We are particularly seeking support in the form of:
Children’s books (including large print, braille, and easy-to-read materials)Teacher reference materials and curriculum support resources
ICT equipment (computers, tablets, projectors)
Educational software and assistive technologies
Library furniture and shelving
We also welcome collaboration with international book donation charities such as:
Book Aid International
Books For Africa
Room to Read
Better World Books
The African Library Project
