?!!
A prophet has to serve under a pastor, the body of christ needs all the 5 arms of gifts to operate,
1.pastor
2.shepherd
3. Teacher
4. Prophet
5. Apostle
All these can operate under the same leader a pastor
That is right...
A prophet must grow under the guidance of a pastor,
Just sometimes, people get excited when they discover they have certain spiritual gifts, especially healing, miracles and prophecy...
And they begin to think they are better than their pastor, especially when the Pastor doesn't seem to have those gifts as much as these newbies...!!!
Every Chuch must indeed have all these gifts fully functional and deployed.
But also some Pastors feel intimidated by these gifts, in fear that they will endear the congregation to the handlers of these gifts,
And so the Pastors can work hard to suppress or stop the administration of those gifts.
Then some people who feel on fire with their gifts will run away from those pastors in search for where the employment of their gifts will be appreciated. If they cannot find accormodation, they may most likely even start new Churches, irrespective of whether they carry the leadership competence or not, irrespective of whether they have learned the mystery of the faith or not.
, , so
True, because Pastors are supposed to be overtaken by the VISON AND MISSION of CHRIST, so much that they dont see themselves standing in the way of the GLORY OF GOD IN CHRIST'S WORK.
BUT WE LEARN THAT WE MUST ALL BE HUMBLE BEFORE GOD AND BEFORE OUR FELLOW BRETHEREN, AND RESPECTING AUTHORITY THROUGH OBEDIENT SUBMISSION, ESPECIALLY IF THE AUTHORITY IS FOCUSSED ON GLORIFYING GOD.
WORD FEAST Fellowship
The knowledge of the HOLY ONE is understanding
Apart from the gifts of Apostleship and Pastoring, which need a lot of leadership wisdom and resilience as the major competence (all done in the most GRACEFUL HEART), the rest of other spiritual gifts have a great degree of independence, in that they can run without necessarily having to build leadership competence...
Yet as growth in a believer ensues unto maturity, the demand on whichever believer, irrespective of their gift, will begin to call them out into leadership, through little assignments and rules of leadership at lower levels.
In that case, the requirements of the competence of a leader must come into play as qualifiers, and no one must enter to leadership as a novice (according to the book first Timothy).
(a Biblical novice is an immature person in spiritual disciplines)
Laying hands on novices helps you participate in their sins without you having to do their sin with them, because you sin by making a novice a leader.
Some prophets have turned themselves to Pastors when they are still novices, though excellent at Prophecy. Being a Prophet doesn't necessarily mean being a Pastor, and being a Pastor doesn't necessarily mean being a Prophet. But the two can also both be functional on one person...

WALKING WITH THE KING.
"Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen" (1 Timothy 1:17)
Do you know what it is to walk with confidence? When you have a king walking by your side, you’d walk with a great deal of confidence, won’t you? Have you ever dined with a king? When you’re dining with a king, you’ll eat differently too. Do you know you have the King walking by your side and dining with you today? Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. When He gathered His twelve disciples and broke bread with them, He taught us how to dine with Him.

The King has taught us how to walk with Him and dine with Him; He has taught us how to live in communion with Him. Now we don’t only have a communion with our heavenly Father, we’re also in vital union with Him. Communion talks about fellowship— a sharing or participation together, while union talks about combining or joining together in a relationship. So we have a fellowship and a relationship with our Father, glory to God!
Our King is alive forever more; He is the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God. We must learn to trust Him because He is our sufficiency; He is our all in all. We are not of those that worry anymore, for we have become independent of circumstances. We cannot be worried about anything, because our God has done all things well, Hallelujah!

HOW TO FIGHT YOUR WAY TO VICTORY.
"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses" (1 Timothy 6:12).
A young man was miraculously healed of a physical ailment at a crusade. On getting home, the devil threw missiles at him in the form of all those familiar symptoms of the disease he was healed from. He taunted him, “Are you sure you’re healed? If you were really healed you wouldn’t be feeling those pains?” For some folks, this is an all too familiar story.
The Lord never told us to do battle with devils. He said we should cast them out (Mark 16:17). Throughout the Scriptures, the only fight you and I are called into is the fight of faith. The Bible clearly calls it “the good fight.” The fight is good because we’re on the winning side. The Lord Jesus overcame for us the devil and his cohorts, the world and its systems. Hence, all that’s left for us to do as Christians is to appropriate all that He accomplished on our behalf in our daily walk.

The fight of faith is seeing what the Lord has given you and holding on to it in spite of physical evidence and everything that your human senses can perceive. The Amplified Bible translation of Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus….” In other words, take your stand on God’s Word and refuse to observe anything else. That’s the fight of faith!
This is not the time to testify to your feelings and circumstances. Stick with God’s testimony about the situation in His Word. If you were healed and the symptoms suddenly reappear, remember it’s the devil throwing missiles at you. You can ward off these missiles with your shield of faith. All you need to do is keep declaring, “I am healed.” The Bible says, “...Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). When you resist the devil with your faith-filled words, he will of necessity flee from you.
You’re a child of God; therefore, don’t resign to failure or sickness. Always remember that the Word of God can’t fail. Take charge of the circumstances of your life with the Word, and having done all, stand!

Matthew 4:1-11
[1]Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
[2]And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry.
[3]And the tempter came and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."
[4]But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'"
[5]Then the devil took Him into the holy city and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple,
[6]and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, 'He will command His angels concerning You'; and 'On their hands they will bear You up, So that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.'"
[7]Jesus said to him, "On the other hand, it is written, 'You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.'"
[8]Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory;
[9]and he said to Him, "All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me."
[10]Then Jesus said to him, "Go, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.'"
[11]Then the devil left Him; and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him.
