Adraa Agriculture College celebrates the life of St. Francis of Assisi. He's the patron Saint of the college and Offaka Catholic parish too.
The Franciscan Brothers who are the founders of the College were grateful to share with students and staff the life of St Francis. Him being the patron saint for ecologists, the celebrations were marked by tree planting.
Rev. Fr. Jerry Yoacel, the Parish priest of Offaka Catholic Parish was the main celebrant guest of honour. While giving his homily to the congregation, he called upon Christians to emulate St Francis by converting away from sinful ways, care for the needy, protecting and caring for the earth among others
Two infants were baptised during the mass. It was a day to remember.
