GUIDELINES OF SCHOOL RE-OPENING

Schools shall reopen as per official schools and institutions calendar, on the 10th of January 2022

Learners in Primary and Secondary schools will report for 1st term, promoted to the next respective class without being subjected to promotional examinations or tests.

All primary and secondary schools shall operate as per their official status, as either day or boarding.

A school categorized as "Day and Boarding" may operate as such,subject to a compliance certification from Directorate of Education Standards (DES), or may opt to operate as a "Day school".

Kyambogo University Academic Calendar

The Ministry of Education and Sports has released the reporting dates for all non-candidate classes.

According to the program released by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Alex Kakooza, noncandidates start reporting on March 1st, 2021, and conclude on July 24th, 2021.

After carefully analysing the Covid-19 situation, we have now decided to open for the 'next' candidate classes. These are Primary 6, Senior 3, and Senior 5. These will report on March 1, 2021 - President Museveni

Keep universities closed, orders Museveni

President Museveni has directed all universities and higher institutions of learning to continue studying online using the ODeal system for at least 3 months.
