Greatness

During the emergence of covid 19, things went very bad for the Lioness
However, even after post covid, we started struggling to stand up
We were about to pass out our girls that were delayed by a whole two year lockdown that was effected globally. We were faced by another resistance to hold our graduation and guess why ? The emergence of another pandemic- the Ebola, was the reason behind the resistance for us to hold our graduation because it would attract a big number of people hence hiking chances of the spread of the pandemic.
We were about to cancel the graduation, after all we had not informed many people because we were not so sure..
However,on the 9/Oct./2022, a miracle takes place, : boom !!! we were given a go ahead to hold our ceremony . We didn't want to waste time, we started our preparations on the 9/Oct. at 11:00am without sleep and by 10:00am on 11th of Oct. we were ready for our ceremony.This means we were able to organize the function in 48 hrs.
In all this achievement, we give God the glory
We also want to thank our well wishers and supporters.Not forgetting the Amuria district officials and the communities around and within Amuria district

Despite the fatal accident that put me down, I have never slumbered in a day ..
We have tried to work to our best as a team
We are now engaged in vigorous agriculture
Plan B now is to start making bricks in October all by ourselves .
It has taken us this very long to achieve..
First our challenge was land and God has been good in this ..
So in October we are going on the ground to make bricks with all the girls..they are very willing and excited to do this ..
We pray corona virus is flushed out in order to ease our work

Carol, the founder and leader of the Angatunyo Lioness Girls Project, will be visiting supporters and Fulcrum Aid staff in Australia. Carol will be sharing her vision for the expansion and development of the project.

Once again on the behalf of the Lionesses I would like to extend my sincere heartfelt message of appreciation to all of you who stood with us right from the time of the sickness of our Lioness girl, Akello Ojek, till to the time of her demise...
Your great support at all levels of her sickness to her last days is highly appreciated...Thank you so much..
It was such a trying time but with your physical or spiritual support we felt loved and I cannot thank each one of you individually but can only say that thank you everyone and may God bless you abundantly

On behalf of the Lioness Girls Uganda Project I would like to sadly announce the demise of our own dear Lioness Akello Ojek which occurred on the 28//08/2019 ..
Akello went bedridden from July 2019 and we have been struggling to treat her but to no positive response...
Today she has succumbed to breath her last and in all this we give God the glory
We will forever miss her..
We want to thank all the Lionesses and partners who made sure that Akello got treated whenever she was down ..
It is because of this that she managed to live and push up to today..Thank you so much
Despite her impaired status, she was able to inspire the other Lionesses
Akello has fought a good fight and all we can say is that RIP Ojek
She is survived by one daughter
