Коли навчання виходить за межі кампусу — воно приводить на DOU Day 2026 🚀

Студенти kood/Zhytomyr разом із Project Lead Вікторією Болотіною протягом двох днів відвідували DOU Day 2026 — одну з наймасштабніших ІТ-подій року.

Це були два дні про технології, людей і дуже багато “о, так ось як це працює в індустрії”.

Наші студенти слухали виступи фахівців, знайомилися з різними напрямами в ІТ, ловили інсайти про ринок, команди, продукти, AI, engineering та все те, що формує українську tech-спільноту прямо зараз.

Для kood/Zhytomyr такі події — це ще один спосіб показати, що навчання не закінчується на завданнях у платформі. Воно продовжується в розмовах, знайомствах, питаннях до практиків і в моменті, коли ти дивишся на індустрію не ззовні, а як її майбутня частина.

When learning goes beyond the campus, it leads to DOU Day 2026 🚀

Students of kood/Zhytomyr together with Project Lead Viktoriia Bolotina spent two days at DOU Day 2026 — one of the largest IT events of the year.

These were two days about technology, people, and plenty of “oh, so this is how it works in the industry” moments.

Our students listened to expert talks, explored different IT fields, and caught insights about the market, teams, products, AI, engineering, and everything shaping the Ukrainian tech community right now.

For kood/Zhytomyr, events like this show that learning does not stop with tasks on the platform. It continues through conversations, new connections, questions to practitioners, and the moment when you start seeing the industry not from the outside, but as its future part.

Thank you, DOU Day 2026, for the atmosphere, the content, and the opportunity to be among those moving Ukrainian IT forward.

Де шукати роботу в ІТ і як підготувати резюме?

Студенти kood/Zhytomyr обговорили це з HR, менторкою та career consultant у компанії Diya Анною Ткачук.

Diya — провідна компанія Житомирського регіону, яка надає ІТ-послуги, а також послуги з кібербезпеки та захисту інформації для клієнтів з Європи й Америки.

Під час зустрічі студенти дізналися більше про процес найму в ІТ-сфері, розібрали актуальні ресурси для пошуку роботи та обговорили, як створити резюме, яке працює.

Анна також поділилася важливою порадою:
«В ідеалі, ваше резюме має бути відповіддю на вакансію. Якщо у вакансії пишуть, що потрібна людина, яка швидко вчиться, має високий рівень комунікації або є дуже працьовитою, відповідні фрази мають бути у вашому резюме».

Окремою частиною зустрічі став практичний розбір CV: троє студентів отримали персональний фідбек щодо того, що вже добре оформлено, а де ще варто допрацювати структуру, формулювання чи подачу досвіду.

Where can you look for IT jobs, and how can you prepare your resume?

kood/Zhytomyr students discussed these questions with HR, mentor, and career consultant at Diya Anna Tkachuk.

Diya is one of the leading companies in the Zhytomyr region, providing IT services, as well as cybersecurity and information protection solutions for clients from Europe and America.

During the meeting, students learned more about the hiring process in the IT field, explored relevant job search resources, and discussed how to create an effective resume.

Anna also shared an important piece of advice:
“Ideally, your resume should be a response to the vacancy. If a job description says they are looking for someone who learns quickly, has strong communication skills, or is hardworking, these phrases should be reflected in your resume.”

A practical CV review was also part of the meeting: three students received personal feedback on what was already well-structured and what could still be improved in terms of layout, wording, and presentation of experience.

Артем поділився досвідом у Cybersecurity, розповів про CTF-змагання, практичні навички для старту та розвиток у цьому напрямі.

Вадим представив DevOps і пояснив, як інфраструктура, автоматизація та CI/CD допомагають командам стабільно запускати продукти.

Спікери попередньо ознайомилися з програмою та порадили, на які теми, інструменти й навички студентам варто звернути увагу. Також говорили про співбесіди, технічні запитання і презентацію власних проєктів.

The speakers reviewed the programme in advance and shared recommendations on topics, tools, and skills to focus on. They also gave advice on interviews, technical questions, and presenting projects.

Embedded Systems — це напрям, де програмування виходить за межі екрана і починає працювати з реальними пристроями. Тут код взаємодіє з сенсорами, пам’яттю, моторами, дисплеями та мікроконтролерами.

У цій спеціалізації ви працюєте з C/C++, low-level програмуванням і firmware, вчитеся керувати hardware-компонентами та розуміти, як система реагує на події в реальному часі.

You’ll work with C/C++, low-level programming, and firmware development while learning how systems respond to real-time events and control physical components.

You’ll also build your own embedded projects: IoT devices, control systems, hardware-software integrations, and automation solutions.

This direction is especially interesting for those who want not only to write code, but also to see how it comes to life in the physical world.

Along the way, you build complex projects: from scalable web applications to systems with microservice architecture and high-load logic.

This is where it becomes clear how real products are built to handle growth and increasing demand.

Cybersecurity is about working with vulnerabilities, attacks, and system defense in real-world conditions. This specialization is not about “set up protection and forget it.” The focus is on working with vulnerabilities — from discovering them to fixing them.

Along the way, you’ll learn how this works in practice: from information gathering (OSINT) and vulnerability discovery to pe*******on testing and system analysis. You’ll also explore how attacks actually look — from network requests to working with files, code obfuscation, and data concealment.

As a result, you gain a clearer understanding of where systems can be vulnerable and how these issues are handled in practice.
