Маємо важливе оновлення для всіх, хто планує долучитися до Selection Sprint у межах kood/Odesa!

📅 Нові дати проведення: 14 вересня – 2 жовтня

Протягом трьох тижнів учасники працюватимуть в Одесі у гібридному форматі — поєднуючи дні спільної роботи наживо з дистанційною роботою.

💻 Три тижні в Одесі, гібридний формат — робота наживо та дистанційно, командна взаємодія, практичні завдання та багато можливостей навчатися й розвиватися.

Selection Sprint — це можливість зануритися в інтенсивний навчальний процес, попрацювати над практичними завданнями, познайомитися з однодумцями та випробувати свої сили в новому форматі навчання.

We have an important update for everyone planning to join our upcoming Selection Sprint!

📅 New dates: 14 September – 2 October

The Sprint will take place over three weeks in Odesa in a hybrid format, combining on-site days with remote work.

💻 Three weeks in Odesa, hybrid — on-site days mixed with remote work, teamwork, practical challenges and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

The Selection Sprint is an opportunity to dive into an intensive learning experience, work on practical tasks, collaborate with other participants, and challenge yourself in a new approach to learning and teamwork.

Alex Kaminskiy and Yaroslav Vlasenko from Batch 1 of kood/Zhytomyr started their journey in September 2025 — and now they’re the first to complete the programme 💛
From AI projects and multiplayer games to peer reviews, teamwork and plenty of challenges along the way — we talked to them about what this journey was really like.

Поки в Одесі триває Selection Sprint, у Житомирі ловимо флешбеки 😅

Минулого року усе це відбувалося у kood/Zhytomyr: перші завдання, баги, взаємодопомога, «ще п’ять хвилин і точно йду додому» та той самий момент, коли код нарешті запрацював 💛

Тепер наші студенти вже навчаються на основній програмі, а свою спринтову історію пише kood/Odesa.

Житомирці, що б ви сказали собі в перший день Selection Sprint? Або яку пораду передали б учасникам в Одесі? 👇

While the Selection Sprint is happening in Odesa, Zhytomyr is having some serious flashbacks 😅

Last year, all of this was happening at kood/Zhytomyr: the first tasks, bugs, peer support, “just five more minutes and I’m definitely going home,” and that moment when the code finally worked 💛

Now, our students are already studying in the main programme, while kood/Odesa is writing its own Sprint story.

У сучасному ІТ неможливо досягти успіху наодинці. Найкращі продукти створюють команди, які вміють слухати, підтримувати одне одного та разом знаходити рішення.

Програма побудована так, щоб провести тебе шляхом до Product Engineer. Крок за кроком ти опановуєш технічні навички, розвиваєш критичне мислення та вчишся створювати реальні ІТ-продукти.

Саме тому в kood/Odesa командна робота — це не окремий предмет, а основа всього навчання. Тут ти не просто виконуєш завдання, а навчаєшся співпрацювати, обмінюватися знаннями, аргументувати свої рішення та допомагати іншим рухатися вперед.

Кожен учасник має власний досвід і погляд. Разом це перетворюється на сильну команду, де кожен розвивається швидше, ніж працюючи самостійно.

Офіційно стартував перший Selection Sprint в kood/Odesa! 💙

Сьогодні розпочався перший Selection Sprint в kood/Odesa — важливий і справді особливий день для всієї команди //kood in Ukraine.

Ми щиро вдячні команді //koodtech(//kood) та Estonian Centre of International Development (ESTDEV)(Estonian Centre for International Development 🇪🇪), а також факультету кібербезпеки та інформаційних технологій НУ «ОЮА»(Факультет кібербезпеки та інформаційних технологій | ФКІТ) за підтримку та можливість реалізувати цей проєкт!

Попереду на спринтерів чекають кілька тижнів інтенсивної роботи, нових викликів, командної взаємодії та знайомств. Це буде час, коли доведеться багато експериментувати, шукати рішення, підтримувати одне одного й відкривати власні можливості.

Бажаємо всім учасникам першого Selection Sprint не боятися складних задач, отримувати задоволення від процесу, знаходити однодумців і впевнено рухатися до своєї мети. Нехай цей Sprint стане початком великої історії в ІТ. 💙

Officially, the first Selection Sprint at kood/Odesa has started! 💙

Today marked the beginning of the first Selection Sprint at kood/Odesa — an important and truly special day for the entire //kood in Ukraine team.

We sincerely thank the //koodtech team, the Estonian Centre for International Development (ESTDEV), and the Faculty of Cybersecurity and Information Technologies at the National University “Odesa Law Academy” for their support and for making this project possible!

Over the next few weeks, the sprinters will face intensive work, new challenges, teamwork, and new connections. It will be a time to experiment, search for solutions, support one another, and discover their own potential.

We wish all participants of the first Selection Sprint the confidence to embrace difficult challenges, enjoy the learning process, find like-minded people, and move steadily toward their goals. May this Sprint become the beginning of a great journey in IT. 💙
