We are delighted to announce that the EIT Higher Education Initiative INNO-STEM BRIDGE officially launched in September.
INNO-STEM BRIDGE project “Building Sustainable Innovation Ecosystems and Fostering Deep Tech Entrepreneurial Talents in STEM” is a two-year project with the goal of turning partner universities into interconnected innovation engines, where entrepreneurship and intellectual property management are embedded directly into STEM education and research.
The project will be delivered by eight partners from Ukraine, Sweden, Turkey and North Macedonia:
🔹 Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, Ukraine Державний університет "Житомирська політехніка"
🔹 KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden KTH Royal Institute of Technology
🔹 Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Ukraine Національний університет «Чернігівська політехніка»
🔹 Amplifiers, Ukraine
🔹 Ukrainian Catholic University, Ukraine Український католицький університет UCuniversity
🔹 M6 Educational Centre, North Macedonia M6 Educational Centre
🔹 Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Türkiye Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi
🔹 Foundation “Prof. Dr. Dimitar Stamboliev”, North Macedonia
Each partner university runs its own repeatable Lab-to-Market pathway: STEM education, challenge-based co-creation with industry, prototyping and validation, acceleration, market uptake. Each university has its own role, and together the consortium forms one continuous path from research to market.
The next two years will open up space to get involved:
🔹 training in innovation, entrepreneurship and IP management
🔹 2 hackathon cycles built on real industry challenges
🔹 2 acceleration cohorts supporting start-ups
🔹 professional training for technology transfer office managers
🔹 Women-Led track supporting women in entrepreneurship
🔹 STEM Education & Industry Summit, a platform connecting universities, business and investors
The project is implemented within the EIT Higher Education Initiative (Topic 1: STEM Capacity Building), supported by 28DIGITAL.
We take pride in being part of the EIT Higher Education Initiative community, building a European network that sees universities not only as places of education and research, but as active engines of innovation, entrepreneurship, and regional development.
