The White House (Washington, DC)
The sights of the United States are represented by a very extensive list. But the most important of them in terms of the history of the executive branch is, of course, the White House.
It is a symbol of America's democracy. The residence of the rulers of the country is named after the color of the building itself. This is one of the main attractions in the United States, and every year about a million and a half tourists come to the capital to see the grandeur and beauty of the world-famous building.
The date of construction dates back to the early 19th century. The White House has 132 rooms, more than 30 bathrooms and three elevators. Two floors out of the six are underground. In the dining room official receptions are held. Around the house is a garden of a total area of 7 hectares.

Of particular interest among tourists is the gallery of paintings depicting all the presidents of the country and their wives. Tours are free, but you must sign up six months in advance. Despite the accessibility, there are U.S. Secret Service employees in the building itself and around its perimeter.

Chinatown (New York City, Manhattan)
It's a miracle - you're in New York and you've already seen the major U.S. attractions highly recommended by guidebooks: the Statue of Liberty, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Empire State Building. Now it's time to head to Manhattan's Chinatown to experience that the world's major crossroads consists of more than just skyscrapers, frantic traffic and cash flow.
In Chinatown, the popular home of the Chinese diaspora and a stone's throw from the fashionable districts of the Big Apple, time slows down. Here traditional Chinese architecture, red lanterns, hieroglyphic signs, and the boisterous crowds of Chinese, Vietnamese, and other Far Eastern immigrants can be discerned for their ethnic flavor.
Grand Street and Canal Street attract tourists and locals with numerous bars and restaurants serving authentic Chinese cuisine. There are also Asian stalls and street markets selling souvenirs, knockoffs of internationally known haute couture brands, and authentic Chinese products like fish candy, spices, and bean noodles. The street fish market is a separate attraction: they sell live snakes, turtles, and frogs along with the customary shrimps, clams, and fresh fish.
In Chinatown, life goes on around the clock and oddly enough, the neighborhood is considered one of the safest in all of New York. It's a must-visit to experience the full extent of America as a land of immigrants from all over the world.

A green area among the skyscrapers of Manhattan Island
The sights of the United States of America are of great interest to tourists. New York's Central Park holds a special place among them. It is an oasis of tranquility in the turbulent business flow of Manhattan. The green area stretches for 4 km in length and 800 meters in width.

Now the park has a whole recreational infrastructure. There are various playgrounds, rides, skating rinks and just picnic lawns. Within the park are:

Statue of Liberty (New York City)

The Statue of Liberty - the ultimate symbol of New York City and the United States
Once in America for the first time, people tend to see all the sights of the United States. One of the world's most famous symbols of the country, the Statue of Liberty, is located on a small island in New York Harbor.

The majestic sculpture of a woman with a torch in her hand, stretched into the sky, has become the embodiment of American freedom. The crown on her head has seven rays, signifying the seven continents and seven oceans (according to Western geographical tradition). In the other hand she holds a plaque with a date of the Declaration of Independence carved on it.

French craftsmen made the monument at the request of the US government and partially transported it to the island. Here the Americans have assembled it on the built-up plinth. The Statue of Liberty is not only a symbol but also an active lighthouse in New York harbor. The height of the statue from the beginning of the pedestal to the top of the torch is 93 meters. The figure is made of copper plates mounted on a steel frame.

If you are wondering what to see in the United States, be sure to visit the Statue of Liberty. Inside it is equipped with the Museum of American Settlement, which displays the historical path of the country, as well as a spiral staircase leading to the top, where you can view the entire harbor. Tourists are taken to the island by ferry, which is very convenient.
