Not sure where to go in Romania that you won't regret? Visit the park, located in the northern part of the capital, which stretches around Lake Herastrau. It was founded in 1936 and was once a swampy area. When they were drained, 1.5 km² of the area became free. The park was originally named after Stalin, and a sculpture of the Russian revolutionary was displayed near the main entrance. The described Romanian attraction includes the Village Museum as well as a recreational area that is completely open to the public. As the name implies, this Romanian landmark is located in the city of Brasov, being its symbol. The total height of the structure is 65m, with only one bell tower and 3 bells mounted on it. What attracts attention inside are the Turkish carpets. They were once donated by the parishioners of the temple, and their original appearance and colouring have been preserved to this day. There is also a baptismal font, dating back to the fifteenth century. It has the form of a cast iron ark made in the Gothic style. Parliament House is a striking architectural landmark in the Romanian capital. More than 20 thousand people worked on its creation. To make it really beautiful they had to work 24 hours a day, for several years. There were peak periods when thousands of additional soldiers were employed. The Guinness Book of Records ranks this Romanian landmark as the biggest office building in the country. The construction process took a total of 5 years. There is no tourist whose imagination is not impressed by the building's appearance and size.
