Happy Independence Day, Ukraine 🇺🇦💛

35 years is young — but our history is anything but short. It is full of different chapters, voices, choices, mistakes, strength, culture, and memory. We need to know it, learn from it, and have the courage to accept all the stages that made us who we are today.

At Bridge Ukraine, we believe that humanity, kindness, education, and curiosity can make a difference. We try to show different perspectives, explore cultures, ask questions, and learn from others — because understanding the world more deeply also helps us understand ourselves.

May we stay curious. May we stay human. May we keep building bridges instead of walls. 🌍🤍

From a screen — to a real hug. 🌍
Our kids first met Paula online. And then one day she just came. In person. To Odesa.
We played games, talked, laughed. We gave each other moments of joy and happiness — real ones, not through a screen.
This is what connection looks like. This is why we do what we do. 💙

Наші діти познайомились з Паулою онлайн. А потім вона просто приїхала. Особисто. До Одеси.
Ми грали в ігри, спілкувались, сміялись. Ми подарували одне одному моменти радості і щастя — справжні, не через екран.
Ось як виглядає справжній зв’язок. Саме тому ми робимо те, що робимо. 💙

From the Azores — to Chornomorsk. 🌍✈️
Paula Branco Paula Branco came to us in person. To a children’s library. With a presentation, games, laughter, and so many wonderful questions from the kids.
Everyone was delighted. Truly.

Паула Бранко приїхала до нас особисто. У дитячу бібліотеку. З презентацією, іграми, сміхом і безліччю чудових запитань від дітей.
Всі учасники були в захваті. Справді.
Дякуємо бібліотеці за таку можливість і батькам за те, що привели своїх дітей і довірились нам. 💙

Last Sunday we met Aylar aylaarmiabi — originally from Iran, now studying in Turkey to become a midwife. She prepared a beautiful presentation about her culture, her religion, food, spices, carpets, and philosophy of life. She asked kids questions — and their answers were amazing. Thank you, Aylar, for your time and your warm attention to every child. 💙

Минулої неділі ми познайомились з Айлар — родом з Ірану, зараз навчається в Туреччині, щоб стати акушеркою. Вона підготувала прекрасну презентацію про свою культуру, релігію, їжу, прянощі, килими та філософію життя. Вона ставила дітям питання — і їхні відповіді були дивовижними. Дякуємо тобі, Айлар, за твій час і увагу до кожної дитини. 💙
