Brooks says, “Aquarians pride themselves on being unique, so they’ll like a bedroom color that is not considered ‘normal’ for most people.” She adds, “I can see an Aquarius enjoying the texture of wallpaper, but they will [also] like something like a violet or anything with a purple hue because it’s a little unusual.”

Capricorns should embody the quiet luxury aesthetic in their bedrooms. Brooks says, “Capricorns can be very ambitious, but also practical and traditional. Something woodsy and neutral like a beige would be a comfortable place for them to rest their head.”

When it comes to the best bedroom paint color for Sagittarians, Brooks says they “do not need a lot of stimulation,” so save the lacquered red walls and dizzying wallpaper for a different room.

Brooks says that deep and layered Scorpios tend to “spend a lot of time in darkness,” so they should opt for a paint color that feels light and ethereal. She adds, “They also have a very active dream life, and something like a rose quartz would be beautiful.”

Brooks says, “Libras love art, beauty, and design. And since they’re a sign ruled by Venus, they may want to have an element of romance in their sleeping environment. A light pastel like baby blue would be beautiful, elegant, and high-quality—exactly what a Libra wants.”

Brooks notes that Virgos tend to be particular and may already have specific ideas about what type of bedroom design will help them feel most comfortable (after all, they're the smarty pants of the zodiac who's probably already done a ton of research!).

“Leos are a very passionate, dynamic sign. They push their energy out,” according to Brooks. This constant, fiery energy can be a sleep-sapper, so she recommends choosing “a silver, moon-like paint color, because Leos are ruled by the sun and, since the moon rules sleep, it will help them fall asleep.”

Brooks says, “Cancers are already comfortable in their own homes. And since they’re ruled by the moon, it’d be great for them to have yellow colors to illuminate their [typical] sleep life.” She adds that though this happy paint color is typically associated with bright, energizing spaces, the right shade of yellow can also be soothing.

Brooks says, “Geminis’ minds are extremely active, and they really need a calm, serene environment to slow themselves down. I’d suggest a really earthy green to almost give the image of relaxing into grass. This sensuality can help Geminis turn off and sleep after a busy day.”

Brooks says that Taureans tend to live relaxed and steady lives that are ruled by their routines, so “they need something a bit more energizing in their sleep environment to [subconsciously] stimulate their passions.” She adds that red paint “can help energize them [in a positive way].”
