It is estimated that more than three hundred people visit the Petronas Towers per day. This architectural marvel, unfortunately, cannot accommodate everyone, so tickets should be purchased in advance - preferably the day before, because otherwise you might find yourself standing in line for a good half of the day.
The staff is very friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. If you really need help, rest assured - an employee of this tourist center will come to your aid instantly.

The Petronas Towers are open every day except Monday from 9am to 9pm. Please note that there is a break on Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. The Towers box office opens at 8:30.

The Art Gallery, located on the third floor at Suria KLCC, has a slightly different schedule. The art gallery awaits its visitors on any day except Monday, of course, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Petronas Towers may no longer be the tallest building in the world, but that did not make the views of the city any worse. And the merits of the builders did not become any less important. And now, finally, it's time "X". It's time for your tour to begin. The attendants will not let you out of their sight for a moment. First you take the elevator up to the 41st floor and take a short walk over the crossing bridge. Not every city bird climbs that high. So you'll get a higher-than-birds-eye view of the city. But that's just the beginning. The next point of visit is the 86th floor. This is where you get a real panoramic view of the city. Through fixed binoculars you can even see the outskirts of the metropolis. In the center of the hall is a model of the twin towers with the surrounding area. The precision of ex*****on is amazing. To be sure of that, you only need to come up to the window and look down. Even the color design is copied exactly. Unfortunately, the entire tour lasts only half an hour. The attendants will insistently rush you. And not because they are so bad-tempered, but because the next group of visitors is coming up to replace you.

It would be surprising if a place like this didn't have some electronic curiosities. There is a square barcode on the ticket, and there is a special booth in the lobby near the ticket office. You can enter it and hold your ticket up to the scanner. Right in front of you there is a laser image of a skyscraper in cross-section. If you rotate the ticket in the space in front of the scanner then in sync with it will turn and hanging in front of you 3-D plan of the towers. An interesting toy. Here you can also buy souvenirs. Naturally, they are all related to the Petronas Towers. These include scale models, magnets, plates and postcards. Anything you can put images of the skyscraper on. One could cite many interesting and surprising facts related to the construction of the towers. For example, that the pouring of the foundation lasted continuously for 54 hours, and that each machine took no more than 90 seconds to unload. That the height of the skyscraper was 452 meters, and for a while it was the tallest building on earth. But why? All this and much more you can learn when you visit the towers. It's much more useful to know that the number of tickets for a tour of the skyscraper is limited and the ticket office opens at 8:30. There are several groups of visitors per day, who, at half-hour intervals, go to see the landmark. It is worth more detail on the organization of ticket sales. On the walls near the ticket office there are information boards with a fixed start time of visits. And, here you can see how many free seats are left for each of the sessions. It is very convenient. While you stand in line, you can plan your day based on the schedule and the availability of tickets. The time spent near the box office can be occupied by watching a recurring video about the history and construction of the towers.

Perhaps initially there was no idea to create something unprecedented. But, at one point, the city's racetrack was moved out of downtown Kuala Lumpur. That left empty land that needed to be filled with something. Creating a park and maintaining it, when calculated, turned out to be very costly and unprofitable. So the idea arose to create something large-scale, bringing maximum return on each square meter. And what can be better than a multi-storey building? In this case, the usable area increases many times over. This is how the famous Petronas Twin Towers were built. The entire complex, with the adjacent park occupies about forty hectares, and the premises of the two 88-storey towers have a combined area of more than twenty hectares. The base area of the skyscraper is quite small.
