Hi students and professionals,
We are a community of former WTO law mooters, coaches, and experts who want to engage future WTO stars.
This group is managed by active members of our top teams from recent years. Each WTO (or ex-WTO) star will be introduced in upcoming posts, where we’ll share personal stories, fun facts, and reflections on why we stick together as a community — following a journey that begins with a Summer School, continues through team selection, regional rounds, and the final round in Geneva, and then carries on well beyond the competition itself.
We believe preparing for a moot court is a wonderful way to make new friends, discover like-minded peers, experience both personal and team growth, and build lasting connections in an uncertain world — all while diving into professional careers. Beyond the teammates you work with and the experts who join practice rounds, the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO law itself is the heart of these connections. It is where old friends reunite from around the world, where coaches stay in touch with other coaches, and where many eventually become Panelists — and vice versa.
This, therefore, is a small but vibrant community of familiar faces that we truly enjoy.
