Он похож на брата. – He looks like brother.
Она похожа на Бритни Спирс. – She looks like Britney Spears.
Они похожи на родители. – We looks like parents.

Gender
In the Russian language, a singular noun can be masculine, feminine, neutral.
How we know that is it masculine, feminine, or neutral?
🛑We should look at the last letter of the noun🛑
If the last letter - consonant or -й. It means that it is a masculine gender.
For example:
Брат - brother
Дом - house
Чай - tea
If the last letter -а or -я. It means that it is a feminine gender.
For example:
Работа - work
Семья - family
Погода - weather
If the last letter -о or -е or -мя. It means that it is a neutral gender.
For example:
Окно - window
Море - sea
Имя - name

If the last letter -ь (soft sign). It means that the word can be either masculine or feminine. You should open vocabulary to check the gender and study by heart!
For example:
Жизнь - life (feminine gender)
Дождь - rain (masculine gender)
