Викладачі та студенти кафедри ЮНЕСКО долучилися до міжнародної зустрічі «Leveraging the Support of UNESCO’s Networks on AI and Emerging Technologies» за участю Генерального директора ЮНЕСКО. Захід став платформою для змістовної дискусії щодо ролі мереж ЮНЕСКО у розвитку штучного інтелекту, новітніх технологій та міжнародної співпраці в освіті й науці. Надихаючий обмін ідеями відкриває нові можливості для подальшої співпраці.

Teachers and students of the UNESCO Chair participated in the international meeting “Leveraging the Support of UNESCO’s Networks on AI and Emerging Technologies”, attended by the Director-General of UNESCO. The event provided a valuable platform for discussions on strengthening UNESCO’s networks in the field of artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and international cooperation in education and science. The inspiring exchange of ideas highlighted new opportunities for future collaboration.

22 червня на кафедрі ЮНЕСКО з наукової освіти відбувся захист кваліфікаційних робіт здобувачів другого (магістерського) рівня вищої освіти за освітньо-професійною програмою «Наукова освіта та наукова комунікація».
Під час захисту магістранти представили результати власних досліджень, присвячених актуальним проблемам наукової освіти, розвитку дослідницьких і комунікативних компетентностей, популяризації науки, відкритої науки, музейної педагогіки, формування пізнавальної мотивації та створення сучасного освітнього середовища.
Члени екзаменаційної комісії відзначили високий рівень підготовки здобувачів, актуальність обраних тем, наукову обґрунтованість результатів та їх практичну значущість для розвитку сучасної освіти.
Щиро вітаємо наших випускників із успішним завершенням навчання та здобуттям ступеня магістра освітніх, педагогічних наук! Бажаємо подальших професійних звершень, нових наукових досягнень, успішної реалізації дослідницьких ініціатив і вагомого внеску у розвиток наукової освіти та наукової комунікації в Україні.

On June 22, the UNESCO Chair on Science Education held a defense of qualification theses of applicants for the second (master’s) level of higher education under the educational and professional program “Science Education and Communication”.
During the defense, the master's students presented the results of their own research on current problems in science education, the development of research and communication competencies, the popularization of science, open science, museum pedagogy, the formation of cognitive motivation, and the creation of a modern educational environment.
The members of the examination committee noted the high level of preparation among the applicants, the relevance of the selected topics, the scientific validity of the results, and the practical significance of the results for the development of modern education.
We sincerely congratulate our graduates on the successful completion of their studies and on obtaining the Master of Educational and Pedagogical Sciences degree! We wish them further professional achievements, new scientific breakthroughs, successful implementation of research initiatives, and significant contributions to the development of science education and science communication in Ukraine.

18 червня доцент кафедри ЮНЕСКО Ольга Задорожна взяла участь у підготовці викладачів закладів вищої освіти до викладання навчальної дисципліни «Доброчесність та антикорупція для педагогічних працівників». Вона виступила як спікерка освітнього заходу, організованого Національним агентством з питань запобігання корупції (НАЗК).
Під час зустрічі обговорили особливості комунікації та взаємодії сучасного педагога з учасниками освітнього процесу в умовах доброчесного освітнього середовища з урахуванням викликів цифрової епохи. Практична частина заходу відбулася у форматі майстер-класу «Педагогічна мова складних тем: як говорити про корупцію та доброчесність», де учасники опрацьовували ефективні підходи до обговорення чутливих суспільних питань зі здобувачами освіти.

On June 18, Associate Professor of the UNESCO Chair, Olga Zadorozhna, took part in training for teachers at higher education institutions to teach the academic discipline "Integrity and Anti-Corruption for Pedagogical Workers". She spoke as a speaker at an educational event organized by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP).
During the meeting, the features of communication and interaction of a modern teacher with participants in the educational process in an honest educational environment, taking into account the challenges of the digital age, were discussed. The practical part of the event took place in the format of a master-class "Pedagogical Language of Complex Topics: How to Talk about Corruption and Integrity", where participants worked out effective approaches to discussing sensitive social issues with students.

Кафедра ЮНЕСКО з наукової освіти стала співорганізатором роботи круглого столу, ініційованого Малою Академією Наук на базі музею математики «Кубоїд».
30 квітня відбувся круглий стіл «Регіональні музеї науки МАН України: інтерактивність як трансдисциплінарне явище у музейних просторах», до якого активно долучилися представники кафедри.
Учасники заходу ‒ українські та іноземні експерти - зосередили увагу на сучасних підходах до музейної освіти, значенні наукової грамотності для розвитку суспільства та кращих міжнародних практиках діяльності наукових центрів.
У межах події представники кафедри ЮНЕСКО взяли участь у дискусіях, професійному обміні досвідом і практичному ознайомленні з роботою наукових музеїв, зокрема Музею науки та «Кубоїда».

The UNESCO Chair on Science Education became a co-organizer of the round table initiated by the Junior Academy of Sciences based on the Kuboid Museum of Mathematics 🙌🏻
On April 30, a round table “Regional Science Museums of the Junior Academy of Sciences: Interactivity as a Transdisciplinary Phenomenon in Museum Spaces” was held, in which representatives of the Chair actively participated.
The participants of the event - Ukrainian and foreign experts - focused on modern approaches to museum education, the importance of scientific literacy for societal development, and the best international practices of scientific centers.
As part of the event, representatives of the UNESCO Chair participated in discussions, professional exchanges of experience, and practical acquaintance with the work of scientific museums, in particular the Museum of Science and Kuboid.

Унікальний проєкт та наша залученість у його реалізацію!

Кафедрі ЮНЕСКО з наукової освіти випала велика честь реалізовувати проєкт ЮНЕСКО в рамках програми участі «Долаючи межі: культивування інклюзії у Асоційованих школах ЮНЕСКО в України» (2025-2026 р.р.) у тісній співпраці із Представництвом ЮНЕСКО в Україні. Вчителі та учні мережі шкіл стали учасниками тренінгів від експертів нашого університету у сфері модернізації освіти за принципами інклюзії у широкому сенсі, коли освіта є не тільки середовищем розвитку особистості із особливими освітніми потребами, але й інструментом упередження протиріч міжкультурної комунікації, нетерпимості, ксенофобії, ейджизму тощо.
В межах проєкту був організований конкурс, за умовами якого учні шкіл підготували відеоролики, які б продемонстрували бачення проблематики проєкту українською молоддю. Кожен із наданих на розгляд роликів викликав велику дискусію серед експертів, адже учні продемонстрували високий рівень командних якостей та бачення проблеми інклюзії у широкому сенсі на особистому освітньому досвіді.
Разом із тим, незалежна експертна оцінка виокремила наступних переможців цього конкурсу.

The UNESCO Chair on Science Education had the great honor of implementing the UNESCO project within the framework of the participation program “Pushing the Boundaries: Cultivating Inclusion in Ukrainian UNESCO Associated Schools” (2025-2026) in close cooperation with the UNESCO Office in Ukraine. The teachers and students of the school network became participants in trainings from experts of our university in the field of modernization of education according to the principles of inclusion in a broad sense, when education is not only an environment for the development of a person with special educational needs, but also a tool for preventing contradictions in intercultural communication, intolerance, xenophobia, ageism, etc.
As part of the project, a competition was organized, during which school students prepared videos that presented the project’s issues from the perspective of Ukrainian youth. Each of the videos submitted for consideration sparked a lively discussion among the experts, as the students demonstrated a high level of teamwork and a broad vision of the problem of inclusion, grounded in their personal educational experience.
At the same time, an independent expert assessment identified the following winners of this competition.
