7. The city’s famous Dancing House was inspired by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Designed in collaboration with Canadian-American Frank Gehry and Croatian-Czech Vlado Milunić, the building symbolises yin and yang. In this case, the blending of communism and democracy.

Interesting facts about Prague
There are about a thousand towers and turrets in Prague, including municipal buildings, ancient fortresses and private houses. Therefore, it enjoys the unofficial title of "city of towers".
The age of the Czech capital is about 1150 years. To be more precise, it was founded in 880 AD (see interesting facts about the Czech Republic).
According to unconfirmed information, during World War II, Adolf Hi**er forbade dropping bombs on Prague because he was impressed by its beauty.
The pneumatic post office operated in Prague for more than a century. It was damaged in 2002, and now it is being considered to be restored and put back into operation (see interesting facts about airmail).

The amazing capital of the Czech Republic, the ancient city of Prague, is truly unique. Many cities in different countries are similar to each other, but there is an atmosphere that is nowhere else. Traditional architecture, Gothic cathedrals, paved with stones of the square - all this is found here in absolutely amazing combinations. Prague is a city worth visiting at least once in your life.
