The Pantanal
The Amazon may be Brazil's most recognizable natural beauty, but the lesser-known Pantanal wetlands offer a completely different—yet equally remarkable—wildlife experience for travelers. These tropical wetlands are the largest in the world and boasts the largest concentration of wildlife in South America. Plus, because the terrain is fairly flat, it's easier to spot the jaguars, giant anteaters, green anacondas, and howler monkeys that call it home.
