Tupendane - We are all one together
My name is Marie Dixon and I am the founder of the Tupendane Children's Trust. Tanzania is a country that is very close to my heart. I have been going to Tanzania since 2012 when I volunteered as nurse in a government hospital. I’ve returned almost every year as the people of Tanzania have a very special place in my heart. Since my first visit to Tanzania I ha
ve been inspired to make a difference to the lives of people who are less fortunate than myself. A friend and I sponsor 4 children allowing them to go to school with the hope that this will give them a head start in life and help them dictate their own destiny. We also sponsor their healthcare. In Tanznaia nothing is free, all healthcare has to be paid for or you aren’t seen. We are setting up this trust with the view that we can help more families and also help children that have been orphaned with education and future costs of healthcare and potential living costs. All we are asking for is a minimum donation of £5 a month, costs start from £20 per month to put one child through education. Lets make a difference.
