CBO HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
Jivunie Kanolo is the group found at Kanolo village Kisawasawa ward, Mang’ula Division –Kilombero/Ifakara district. The group was first established on 10/03/2013 under microfinance institution known as CODERT Ifakara and registered with the no. of KDC67/5/92 at district level and 290996 at National level under business names act (Cap213) which comprise of 107 member group

. The group works as microfinance institution that deposit and provide soft loans with small interest rates to its members so as to improve economic status to the community level. The group managed to support 6 orphans’ school children in October 2014, with provision of school uniforms at Kanolo primary school. Now we plan to extend the project until to support more than 100 orphans and vulnerable children’s around Kisawasawa ward covering primary schools, while seeking support from other interested local and international organizations and institutions from Tanzania and outside the country

Jivunie kanolo group in collaboration with John Mlulu on the right photo facilitator from TANAPA -Mang'ula Udzungwa national park,managed to train and support 1 small farmer group (Umoja ni nguvu 40 members ) under the current project of bee-keeping at Kisawasawa ward . More than 40 targeted beneficiaries with more than 200 non beneficiaries will benefit this project.
