SPSS Training at TCNPC – Dodoma | 31st August–5th September 2026

After successfully conducting SPSS training programmes in Mwanza, Morogoro, and Dodoma last year, we are excited to continue this journey at Tanzania Community Networks Polytechnic College (TCNPC), Nzuguni B, Dodoma. This journey has been more than training—it has been about sharing knowledge, building professional networks, creating meaningful connections, and empowering learners with practical data skills.

This upcoming practical training will cover digital data collection using KoBoToolbox, SPSS installation and setup, codebook preparation, data cleaning and management, descriptive and inferential statistics, basic data visualization, and report and thesis writing techniques. The programme is designed to help students, researchers, professionals, and other data users confidently manage, analyse, interpret, and present data.

The training fee is TZS 100,000, with limited slots available.

Training will take place from 31st August to 5th September 2026 at TCNPC, Nzuguni B, Dodoma.

Imagine standing before over 800 Lower Secondary School students to demystify Artificial Intelligence, not through theory alone, but through real-life experiences they can see, understand, and relate to.

As part of the AI Awareness and Sensitization Sessions conducted by Tanzania Community Networks Polytechnic College (TCNPC), we demonstrated how everyday technologies such as Siri use AI to automate tasks and services. The excitement and curiosity from the students showed just how powerful practical demonstrations can be in helping young people understand emerging technologies.

We also introduced the students to AkiliCheck, an AI-powered mental health tool developed to demonstrate how AI can be applied to address real-world challenges and improve people’s lives.

At TCNPC, our mission is to take technology awareness beyond the classroom, inspire curiosity, nurture digital skills, and empower young Tanzanians to become responsible users, creators, and innovators of technology.

AI is not just the future, it is here today. And the next generation of African innovators is already learning how to shape it.

CALL FOR TRAINING: SPSS FOR SOCIAL SCIENCES

Tanzania Community Networks Polytechnic College (TCNPC), in collaboration with the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Multidiscipline Solutions in Africa (CAIMSA), invites students, researchers, professionals, and anyone interested in data analysis to join our practical training on IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 27.0.

The training will cover digital data collection using KoBoToolbox, SPSS installation and setup, data cleaning and management, descriptive and inferential statistics, data visualization, and report & thesis writing techniques.
