Our Year 6 students recently embarked on an unforgettable residential trip to Kigoma and Lake Tanganyika, filled with learning, adventure and personal growth.

From exploring local markets and learning about sustainable fishing practices, to discovering the rich history of the region at the Livingstone Museum and Old Slave Market, every experience brought learning to life. Students also gained insight into local transport and logistics through visits to the train station, port and the historic MV Liemba.

A highlight for many was the visit to Gombe Stream National Park, where students had the incredible opportunity to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat and meet the researchers dedicated to their conservation. 🐒🌿

Along the way, our learners developed independence, budgeting skills and confidence, all while creating memories that will stay with them for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of the maturity, curiosity and enthusiasm shown by our Year 6 students throughout the trip. 💙

We are not crying, you are! 🥺 Clear the runway for a massive milestone because the Class of 2026 has officially graduated, marking our first-ever Year 13 cohort since we launched our secondary school back in 2017!

From our humble beginnings in to watching these incredible students step up as our senior pioneers, this moment is a huge achievement for the entire Braeburn Dar family. Our teachers are bursting with pride, and our campus is filled with so much gratitude. 🌟

Our graduates have proven that with the right community, dedication, and global values, the sky is the limit. They are leaving us not just with certificates, but as confident global citizens ready to take on the world’s finest universities. 🌍🎒

Looking back at a spectacular evening as we officially celebrated our incredible Year 11 students at their Graduation Ceremony! 🌟

It was a night filled with immense pride, reflection, and joy as our global community came together to honour the hard work, determination, and achievements of this fantastic cohort. From the inspiring speeches to the presentation of certificates, the atmosphere was absolutely electric.

As they prepare to step into their next academic chapters, we have no doubt they will continue to embody the values of global citizenship and excellence. A huge congratulations to the entire class, and a heartfelt thank you to the families and staff who have supported them every step of the way! 🙌❤️
