Established in 1996, Laureate International School-Zanzibar is a private institution that today supports an enrollment of over 1000 students, most them day scholars and a few boarders, from Nursery through Primary to Secondary and is staffed by 67 teachers. The school is conveniently located in a campus measuring over 33,000 square meters enclosed by a perimeter wall, therefore providing a safe, s

erene and conducive learning environment. The school has 26 spacious classrooms and equipped with adequate and proper furniture: two laboratories, two libraries, a resources center, an art room a multi-purpose hall, football, basketball and volleyball grounds. In addition we have limited boarding facilities for both boys and girls. We also feel privileged to have partnered with Opportunity Education who are not only helping us provide quality education through assisting teachers acquire skills for effective instructions and assessment but also support in form of teaching materials and ICT.
