Upendo Friends School

Upendo Friends School The school hopes to assist students in furthering their education. The school also provides the students with two hot meals a day.

A school designed to give students in Tanzania the opportunity to get a good primary education in English because that is the language of instruction for secondary schools. At Upendo, there is a mix of children from all different economical backgrounds such as; orphans and kids from underprivledged families.

Welcome to the new page of the Upendo Friends School. Please invite other friends as we would like to spread the word about the work we are doing. We have recently started a new semester and we are excited to see what the future holds for our school. Currently we are hosting two Canadian volunteers, Emma Horvatis and Rachel Knope, who will be with us until the end of May.
