Do you know the origin of Christmas? 🎄 Christmas is celebrated on December 25 to remember the birth of Jesus Christ. It combines Christian beliefs with ancient Roman winter solstice traditions. It is a holiday that honors the coming of the Son of God and has also become a global cultural celebration.
Common traditions include singing carols and giving gifts. The word "Xmas" is a shortened form of "Christ's Mass."

我在16歲時遇見一位有愛心、耐心、嚴格的老師，也是一位校長。1949年她來自北京，就讀北京大學，曾任職北一女中化學老師，訓導主任多年。她教導我做人處世原則，幫助我在弱勢家庭環境中追求知識、技能、培養正面的態度。她是我最敬愛的人之一。

Happy Teacher's Day!

As a non-mainstream teacher participating in education, I have taught students from kindergarten to adult learners. I have guided and accompanied my three sons in choosing non-school-based experimental education, inspiring students to understand the purpose of learning, practicing personalized teaching, encouraging students to learn in ways that suit them, and helping them become independent. This gives them the opportunity to become better individuals who will one day serve society and the nation. I am grateful to my students for bringing me joyful and enriching moments and memories.

When I was 16, I met a loving, patient, and strict teacher, who was also a principal. She came from Beijing University and had served as a chemistry teacher and academic director at Taipei First Girls' High School for many years. She taught me principles of life and helped me build knowledge, skills, and a positive attitude despite growing up in a disadvantaged family environment. She is one of the people I admire most.
