University Sports Day (April 23)

Dear Students,

Please be informed that Thursday, April 23, 2026 is the University Sports Day. Classes will be suspended on that day.

You are encouraged to participate in the Sports Day activities.

📌 Important:
• Graduate students are required to attend the Opening Ceremony (Periods 1–2).
• Attendance at the Closing Ceremony is not required.
• Participation in Sports Day is considered part of regular class attendance.
• If you are unable to attend, please complete the leave application in advance.

Instructors will adjust course schedules accordingly.

Welcome IMBA students to today's special session of the "Business Research Method" course in 505R.

Today from 13:00 to 15:00, we are absolutely thrilled to host our guest speaker, Dr. Danielle van Jaarsveld, who will be delivering a talk titled: “My insights on conducting research: many lessons learned.”

Meet Our Distinguished Speaker Professor van Jaarsveld is the E.D. MacPhee Professor of Management and the Division Chair of Organizational Behavior and Human Resources at the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business. She holds a Ph.D. and an MSc in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, as well as an AB in History from Princeton University.

Please join us in 505R at 13:00 to give a warm welcome to Professor van Jaarsveld and learn from her extensive journey in business research!
