Subject: Important Notice: Fall 2026 Semester Schedule and Travel Planning

Dear IMBA Students,

I hope you are enjoying your summer break.

As we prepare for the Fall 2026 semester, please make your travel and personal arrangements in advance to ensure a smooth return to campus.

Please note the following important dates:

Classes Begin:Monday, September 7, 2026
Course Add/Drop Period:September 7–17, 2026
Registration Day for Current Students:September 10, 2026

Students are expected to return to campus and attend classes from the first day of the semester. Some instructors may take attendance from the very first class, including during the add/drop period.

If you are unable to return on time due to special circumstances, please inform your course instructors and apply for leave in advance.

Please also note that:

Any absence without prior approval will be considered an unexcused absence.
Unexcused absences may affect both your conduct grade and course grade.
According to university regulations, students who are absent for more than one-third (1/3) of the scheduled class hours for a course will not be eligible to receive academic credit for that course.

We encourage all students to finalize their travel plans as early as possible to avoid any unexpected delays.

We look forward to welcoming you back to campus and wish you a successful Fall 2026 semester!

As a typhoon may affect Taiwan in the coming days, please make your safety your highest priority.

Please follow these important reminders:

1. Monitor the latest weather updates and university announcements.

2. Avoid unnecessary travel, especially to rivers, beaches, mountains, and other hazardous areas.

3. If you need to go outside, be cautious of strong winds, heavy rain, flooding, and falling objects.

4. Keep your mobile phone charged and available, and stay in contact with your classmates and family.

5. Students staying in dormitories or off-campus housing should prepare sufficient food, drinking water, and other daily necessities.

A special reminder for our international students staying on campus for summer courses:
