國立台東女子高級中學

本校於3/18(三)下午2:00~15:30由美國在臺協會高雄分處新聞組到校與進行學生講座與交流。講座主題為「Studying in the U.S. and My Life as a U.S. Diplomat」，受到師生熱烈歡迎。

On March 18th (Wed) from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, TGSH hosted a keynote speech and exchange activity in partnership with the Public Diplomacy Section of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) Kaohsiung Branch. The event entitled "Studying in the U.S. and My Life as a U.S. Diplomat" received cordial welcome from the faculty and students.

此項活動演講由美國在臺協會高雄分處新聞組組長溫宏國(Nelson Wen)率隊，帶領工作團隊成員蘇小姐及邱小姐蒞臨本校；內容涵蓋如何申請至美國留學、美國外交官成長心路歷程、外交官人格特質與自我調適等各面向交流與互動。內容精彩充實，為有意願將來赴美就讀或從事外交工作同學，提供第一手的資訊，受益良多。

The event was led by Mr. Nelson Wen, the Public Diplomacy Section Chief of the AIT Kaohsiung Branch, along with his outstanding team members Ms. Su and Ms. Chiu. The event covered various aspects, including how to apply to study in the U.S., the career path of a U.S. diplomat, the personality traits and self-adjustment of becoming a competent diplomat. The content was rich and helpful, providing valuable firsthand information for students interested in studying in the U.S or pursuing a diplomatic career.

國立臺東女中115年大學繁星推薦入學暨特殊選才放榜

National Taitung Girls' Senior High School Announces 2026 University Admissions Results (Including Special Talent Selection Admissions)

115大學繁星推薦，臺東女中錄取及通過第八類篩選共55人。其中，錄取國立臺灣大學2人，國立政治大學2人，臺大、清大、陽明交大、成大、政大指標型大學共7人，公立大學共上榜27人。

In the 2026 University Admissions Recommendation & Special Talent Selection Program, 55 TGSH students were admitted or passed the eighth-category selection. Among them, 2 were admitted to National Taiwan University, and 2 to National Chengchi University. In total, 7 were admitted to top universities such as National Taiwan University, National Tsing Hua University, National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University, and National Chengchi University, with 27 being admitted to public universities.

臺東女中今年共有4人通過醫學系第一階段篩選，分別為臺北醫學大學醫學系2位、高雄醫學大學醫學系1位，以及輔仁大學醫學系 1位；醫、藥、護相關學系上榜者有9人。

This year, 4 students from TGSH passed the first stage of the medical school selection: 2 to Taipei Medical University, 1 to Kaohsiung Medical University, and 1 to Fu- Jen Catholic University. Nine students were admitted to medicine, pharmacy, and nursing-related departments.

另外，美術班有1人透過繁星計畫上榜，錄取國立臺灣藝術大學。今年本校繁星報名人數總計86位，錄取及通過人數59人，上榜率達68.6%。

Moreover, one student from the art class was admitted to National Taiwan University of Arts through the Multiple-Star Program. This year, a total of 86 students applied for this program, with 59 admitted or passed the first stage selection, achieving an admission rate of 68.6%.

臺東女中校長王垠表示，非常感謝東女師長對同學的指導與提點，並引述泰戈爾詩句：「繁星之中，必定有那麼一顆會指引我、帶領我走過未知的黑暗。」期勉同學上大學秉持「同行致遠」的精神，求知若渴，愛人如己。

Principal Wang, Yin of Taitung Girls' High School expressed his gratitude to the teachers and staff for their guidance and advice to the students. He quoted Tagore's poem, "Among the stars, there must be one that will guide and lead me through the unknown darkness." He encouraged the students to uphold the spirit of "going far together", stay hungry to learn, and to love others as themselves after entering university .

【2025國際青年科學論壇】自11／11(一)至11／12(二)於北一女舉行，來自日本、新加坡、越南、泰國及馬來西亞共9所高中，以及國內18所高中，合計逾150名高中生參與。

The 2025 International Youth Science Forum was held at Taipei First Girls' High School from November 11th (Monday) to November 12th (Tuesday). Over 150 high school students of 9 schools from Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia, as well as 18 high schools in Taiwan, participated in the event.

11日論壇首日，由諾貝爾物理學獎得主、石墨烯之父Andre K. Geim進行主題演講，引領學子展開一場知識與靈感交織的思考饗宴；下午由北一女中教師團隊帶領學生分組進行科學實作。

On the first day of the forum, the 2010 Nobel Laureate in Physics and the "father of graphene," Dr. Andre K. Geim, delivered a keynote speech, leading students through a thought-provoking feast of knowledge and inspiration. In the afternoon, teachers from Taipei First Girls' High School led students into group science workshops.

第二天上午辦理大師講座，邀請中央研究院院士牟中原、國立台灣大學資訊工程學系教授蕭旭君，以及台積電處長張孟凡，與學子共同探討前瞻科技等議題。

On the second morning, a series of master lectures were held, featuring Academician Chung-Yuan Mou of the Academia Sinica, Professor Hsiao Hsu-Chun of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Taiwan University, and Director Chang Meng-Fan of TSMC, who discussed issues related to cutting-edge technologies with the students.

本校學生代表團以英文向臺北市長蔣萬安簡介科展研究成果。

The student delegation from TGSH presented their research findings at the science fair in English to Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-An.

當天下午路易斯大使以【聖露西亞面對氣候變遷展現之韌性】為題，發表精彩演講。過程中，學生迎以大使等一行專注的聆聽與熱情的掌聲和歡呼!

That afternoon, Ambassador Lewis delivered a captivating speech entitled 'Saint Lucia's Resilience in the Face of Climate Change'. Throughout the speech, the students responded with attentive listening and enthusiastic applause and cheers to the ambassador and his entourage!

Congratulations to TGSH 12th grader Chen, Yi for being selected for the "Teen Diplomatic Envoys" delegation to visit the United States.
