The Aesthetic Education Exhibition runs from December 2nd to December 12th in CYCU.

Harmonious sounds can touch the heart; God, through these beautiful numbers, composed a moving melody so that we may maintain harmonious relationships. Harmony is the union of beauty, goodness, and love.
The movement of the universe is achieved according to numbers. Its movement is a beautiful symphony. God is the greatest composer.

The international academic conference is now open for students to attend as "Observers"! This event will be held on 22nd November.

If your end-of-term video project is related to General Education 🌍, academic seminars 📚, or if you're just interested in experiencing the atmosphere of an international academic exchange up close 👀, you are very welcome to register. After attending, you can create a group video about the experience and share what you've learned and your insights.

All you need to do is fill out a brief self-introduction + your motivation for participating, and the Centre for General Education will conduct a selection process. ✨

On the 13th October (Monday) we had the International Semiconductor Industry Forum. I have learned a great deal from these excellent scholars.
The conference invited leading Taiwanese scholars to discuss the development and future prospects of Taiwan's semiconductor industry. Scholars from KU Leuven, Belgium, also shared their expertise. For someone outside the field, hearing such presentations was truly invaluable. While I didn't understand some of the content, I understood what they were actually doing. This is crucial, because expertise belongs to the experts, but a shared vision belongs to everyone.

Hello, Students! On 2nd October we held the Forum, and it was fascinating to have such excellent scholars sharing their views on the Ethics and Future of AI with us. At the beginning of the event there was a musical performance that was compellingly attractive. I hope that you enjoy what I share with you. Thank you!

My dear Students,

As part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of CYCU's founding, we are holding an International Forum on 2nd October, 08.50 - 15.25, on the theme of 'Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Cooperative Governance Forum'.

There will be no classes on 29th September, but you are expected to attend the Forum. From 9.40 - 10.20, our guest speaker, Prof. Christoph Horn, of Bonn University, Germany, will give a talk on 'How Could Artificial Intelligence Transform Our Societies? An Ethical Analysis', and this is not to be missed. If you cannot attend this important lecture, you should attend the Panel Discussion (11.20 - 12.20) and the Roundtable Forum (13.30 - 14.40) I will be there for the full day. Please see the attached.

You will be expected to take notes and observations during the course of the day, which you have to upload to I-Learning 2.0. Depending on the quality of your notes you will qualify for a maximum of THREE marks to be added to your overall mark.

I would like to introduce myself, I am your teacher Yip Mei Loh. It is lovely to know you and to study Contemporary Moral Debates this semester. I hope you will come to my classes with a curiosity and relaxed mood. During this semester I am not only your academic lecturer, I am also your functional instructor. If you encounter any difficulties in your studies, or if you want to become an exchange student or find a job, you can come to me for advice. I will share all my own experience with you.
