起初的台灣對於移工議題並沒有太多關照，然而隨著世界的進步，全球化下提倡著人權平等、種族平等。人權與種族衝突議題是台灣也需要面對的!

It’s very common to see migrant workers in Taiwan, especially in the manufacturing business and long-term care service. Hiring migrant workers is necessary due to the short-staffed situation in Taiwan.

At first, Taiwan did not pay much attention to the issue of migrant workers. With the progress of the world, equality in human and racial rights are being encouraged under globalization. The conflict between the rights is a rising issue in Taiwan that needs to be faced.

Let’s go deep into the issues step-by-step together in the course:
▶Learning the history of the migrant workers
▶Understanding the situation of the migrant workers in Taiwan
▶Sharing opinions
▶Suggesting solutions to the problem.
By the end of the course, students are able to get the picture of migrant workers’ lives in Taiwan, strengthen the concept of multi-ethnic culture, and reflect on the relationship between individuals and collectives.
