We’re back! Blue Kookaroo STEAM classes will begin again on Saturday October 1st.
Blue Kookaroo STEAM classes are real interdisciplinary classes that incorporate all five fields that make up STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and maths), not disconnected “STEM projects with stickers”.
Message us now to book Saturday classes and give your child the head-start they deserve.
Amazing Bodies Summer Camp!
Day 3: We learnt the different components that makes up our blood. We made a necklace that explains the circulatory system. We also investigated the cardiovascular system and made our own model of how a heart pumps!

Climb aboard as we journey into the human body! We’ll carry out experiments and make projects that delve into the inner workings of our bodies and learn about the many wonderful and complex systems that work in conjunction to keep us ticking over.

PITCH & PUTT
Come and get involved as we design and build our own mini-golf courses. We’ll use the scientific method to determine the ideal angle and surface materials for the inclined planes, make golf flags using graphic design and colour theory, incorporate simple machines to make fun obstacles, and many more projects and activities.

Blue Kookaroo
🌱 A new kind of STEAM learning 🧩
Every weekend we hold special and fun STEAM classes in Daan, Taipei. We make projects, carry out experiments, make individual and collaborative artwork, and research a wide range of esoteric topics.
We run classes for three levels:
• Ages 2-4 -> oyako (parent-child)
• Ages 3-5 -> Kindergarten
• Ages 6-8 -> Elementary

👀 After learning about how the eye works and it’s inner anatomy, our Blue Kookaroo elementary students go to work making their very own eyeball keychain. Each layer of the keychain can be peeled back to reveal the internal structures of the eye.

STEAM learning doesn’t just have to be about making projects. At Blue Kookaroo we have a diverse range of books we use in our classes to enrich the learning experience.
While this beautiful book may be in French, our teachers are able to navigate the book in English, guiding the students through the wonderful world of human anatomy.

We investigated lots of things like:
- how our eyes can be tricked by illusions
- what gives the iris it’s colour
- why light causes our pupils to dilate and constrict
