大家都愛上了GCAC為第二彈特意準備的好吃碗粿了嗎？😋 民以食爲天，對於喜歡以「吃飽了沒」作爲問候語的亞洲人而言，「食物」絕對是最平易近人的破冰話題。名人蔡康永也説過，不知道該聊什麽的時候，聊吃的就對了！🍽

不過説到食物，有哪些有趣的英文單詞能讓人快速派上用場，輕鬆開啓話題呢？一起來看🍴

#1 comfort food🍜
顧名思義，就是在我們情緒低落或焦慮時，能帶來撫慰、療愈效果或安全感的食物；食物種類因人而異，不過一般具有高碳水、高熱量的特點 XD 有部分學者認爲它和一個人的童年回憶有關，像是母親煮的一碗熱湯、兒時吃的點心，可能就是許多人心中的comfort food！若是和朋友聊到這個話題, 相信都會勾起彼此的美好回憶🥰

#2 food coma😴
其實就是形容午飯後想睡的狀態，但可別被coma一詞嚇到，它與真正的嗜睡症、陷入無意識的昏迷狀態並無相關噢！關於人在午飯之後尤其容易昏昏欲睡的原因，科學家尚未有定論；不過他們發現吃了大餐之後，人更容易出現food coma，因此大家如果想避免午後打瞌睡的情況，午飯記得別吃太飽~😛

3. go-to place/food🙋
「今天吃什麽？」可能是公認的人生一大哉問，而所謂的go-to food經常就是我們毫無想法或面對決策疲勞時的最終選項，因爲它總是不會讓你失望。只要問一個人 “What’s your go-to food?”就能幫助你快速瞭解對方的飲食習慣和偏好，繼而延伸出更多話題~😁

大家在週二首次登場的活動上是否和夥伴們聊得意猶未盡，還想聽到更多關於 #旅游的趣事呢？🌏

説到旅游，你我也許都曾有過傳説中的 “déjà vu”體驗？✨

可能是初次走進一家咖啡館，聞到咖啡香氣的時候，又或是在街道上與某個陌生人四目交接的時候，心頭忽然生出一種 #似曾相識的感覺… 😦
這種明明是第一次，卻仿佛早已經歷過的奧妙體驗，就是所謂的déjà vu了~

那如何在對話情境中正確使用這個單詞呢？一起看下去！

déjà vu 似曾相識的感覺、既視感；一般是中性的，但也可以指不好的預感，例如看到不好的事件重演時😞

聽了昨天由 #國際特赦組織台灣分會秘書長Eeling帶來的精彩講座，大家是否對 #人權運動有了更多的瞭解，但還是覺得國際上的重大人權議題似乎距離我們的生活有些遙遠？🧐
其實日常生活中許多習以為常的現象，也都和人權有關喔！

議題一： #公園，是他們重要的避暑之地🌳
☀夏天的氣溫連年飆升，在國外更是經常發生由 #熱浪引發的死亡事件；當我們在有冷氣的室內上課或辦公時，是否想過長時間在戶外工作的勞工們如何應對中暑的風險？勞動部要求僱主應提供陰涼的休息場所，但其實公園就扮演了這樣的角色！公園不僅是人們運動、郊遊的好去處，更是特定勞動群體不可或缺的降溫場所。讀到這裡，你是否才發現原來公園還有這項重要的社會功能呢？🏃‍♀🏃

議題二： #月經貧窮？🤔

你知道女性一生平均要花費新台幣10萬元購買生理用品嗎？😮
購買生理用品是女性無法避免的一項花費，但你是否想過，對於一些 #經濟弱勢的女性而言，沒錢購買衛生棉可能意味著她們必須承受較高的感染風險、甚至是生理期間無法工作或上學？😢月經貧窮問題在已開發國家和發展中國家皆受到大量關注，大家在成大校園內或許已注意到各系所單位開放有急需對象 #索取免費衛生棉的宣導海報，這可是 #成大性平會努力推動的成果噢！🙆‍♀️

人權話題並非遙不可及或嚴肅枯燥的國際議題，而是發生在你我身邊的日常大小事。只要用心觀察，相信你還能發現更多為人權發聲的行動，繼而成爲 #改變生命的力量 💪

We are now planning a new activity called , and we would like to invite everyone interested in interacting with others in English to be our !
During the activities, Luncheon Masters will be responsible for facilitating discussion in a group of 4 people and initiating conversations during the discussion period.
Being a Luncheon Master cannot only meet a bunch of new friends on different campuses but also earn some money by being a leader!

【Luncheon Master Recruitment Guidelines Highlight】
☘️ Eligibility
1. Registered NCKU student (including local students, overseas students, overseas Chinese students and students from China, Hong Kong and Macau)
2. Excellence in spoken English
3. Outgoing and able to facilitate group discussion and initiate conversation

✨ Compensation
NT$700 per session for each luncheon master (before tax).

⏰ Application Timeline
1. Application submission: February 1st, 2023 – February 22nd,2023
2.Application result announcement: February 23rd, 2023
3. Online interview: February 24th, 2023 (details will be sent along with the interview invitation)

第一場【從出國到上台：國際會議大補帖】系列工作坊已經結束啦！在這場工作坊中，來自的Sheryl老師向大家分享了在 #機場報到時常用的單字，以及許多小技巧，像是如何適切的 #讚美他人，或是找尋 #共同話題等等，相信之後大家在會議場合遇見新朋友，就可以輕鬆開啟對話，建立關係！

The first workshop of the ‘Keep Calm and Enjoy International Conferences’’ workshop series has come to an end.
