俄國水手舞 Russian Sailor Dance
This is another piece in the series of piano four-hands with the teacher. The traditional Russian folk song uses minor scales to create a vast, desolate sound with a mystical and religious vibe. This piece features frequent G-sharp notes, making it excellent practice for students just being introduced to the black keys.

久石讓 - 人生的旋轉木馬
Joe Hisaishi‘s “Merry-Go-Round of Life” is the soul of Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film, Howl‘s Moving Castle! It’s not just the opening and ending theme — Sophie and Howl’s first encounter actually features a beautiful variation of this very piece! This work is built on a lively 3/4 waltz rhythm, making it sound elegant and dreamy. With the progression of the story, the melody shifts from delicate to majestic. It perfectly captures the film‘s fantasy and romantic vibes.

Schubert’s “Marche Militaire” is one of his most famous and popular masterpieces. The piece starts with a lot of energy. The opening instantly feels like a lively military parade. The brisk melody is so catchy. It’s graceful yet full of playful energy! Due to its outstanding melody and powerful rhythm, it has been arranged for various instrumental ensembles. Even today, it is still frequently heard in movie soundtracks and award ceremonies.

「雜技表演者」是一首輕快可愛的曲子，前半段的跳音就像表演者用丟球的方式暖身，後半段高音、中音及低音「C」的表現，就像雜技表演者在拋接一顆叫「Do」的球；這首曲子除了訓練右手能準確快速移動到對的位置，也加深了不一樣音域的Do在五線譜上不同位置的印象。

“The Juggler” is a lovely and lively tune. Staccato in the first section is like a performer warming up by throwing a ball. The high, middle and low “C” in the second section is like a performer throwing and catching a ball called “Do”. In addition to training the right hand to move to the correct position accurately and quickly, this piece also makes an impression of different pitch range using “C”.

這次分享一首「鐘錶店」⏰，學生在彈主旋律的時候，老師常常會在旁邊彈一些簡單的伴奏，像在四手聯彈，🎶四手聯彈可以訓練學生的聽力、反應、專注度和彼此的默契協調等等。除了可以聽到更豐富的和聲，也能培養和別人一起合作，共同創造音樂的能力🤜🏻🤛🏻

We want to share a piece called “The Clock Shop”⏰. While the students play the main melody, the teacher plays some simple accompaniment, just like a Piano Duet. 🎶Piano Duet can train students’ listening skills, reaction speed, concentration and coordination with the partner. In addition to hearing richer harmonies, it can also cultivate the ability to cooperate with others and create music together.🤜🏻🤛🏻
