The Aranguez Hindu School was built on two lots of land donated by Mr. Chotoo Ram. The er****on of the building was started by the late Mr. Girdharie Maharaj, Mr.
Bhadase Sagan Maharaj who gave materials and financial assistance. A committee headed by Mr. Mangra Jagessar was mandated to overlook the completion of the building. Other members of the committee were Mr. Ramdeen Chotoo, Mr. Ramjass Ramsumair, Mr. Ramnath Dalchan, Mr. Sam Maharaj, Mr. Lochan Madaree and Mr. Rambock. The building was completed in November, 1956 and opened under the Sanatan Dharma
