Rio Claro West Secondary turned 50 this term. In the last few years, even before Covid 19, West Fest has been our biggest earner and started our push to create and maintain a comfortable learning and teaching environment for our students and teachers. We have worked through various fund raisers and we have now outfitted 17 of our 23 classrooms with air condition units. NO GOVERNMENT SCHOOL CAN STATE THAT CLAIM. It has also not been cheap to modify 50 year old infrastructure. As we continue our thrust to ensure we remain at the top of our game in discipline, all round achievements and flying the Rio Claro and Mayaro flag with pride, we embark upon West Fest '25 to further improve our school while ensuring it is a safe and comfortable environment for our present students and those who will grace our halls in the next 50 years. However, none of this would have been possible without the support of our students, their parents and, you, the public. We issue a special invite to our past students, to come together at West Fest '25 and let us make it successful as we honor our past, celebrate our achievements and focus on our future. Come out on 1st November, 2025, and let us truly make this a November like no other!
