🌿 School Clean‑Up - Part 1 🌿
On Sunday 26th April, 2026 a small but mighty team came out — and look at the progress we made! 💪✨
The “before and after” pictures say it all: cleaner spaces, greener vibes, and a brighter schoolyard.
We’re grateful to those who joined in, and we hope to see many more of you next fortnight as we continue the task together.
Many hands make light work — let’s finish strong and make St. Rose’s Girls’ R.C. School shine! 🪴🌺
✨ First Day of School Blessing ✨
Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers,
As we step into a brand new school term, we pause to give thanks for the gift of learning, friendship, and growth. May this first day be filled with excitement, courage, and joy.
📚 *A Prayer for the Journey Ahead*
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the opportunity to begin another school term. Bless our children with curiosity to learn, kindness to share, and strength to overcome challenges. Guide our teachers with wisdom and patience, and surround our families with unity and love. May this term be one of discovery, achievement, and lasting memories.
Amen.
🌟 Together, let us embrace each day with hope, knowing that every step forward builds a brighter future.
With love and support,

📣 *This Happened Today!* 🥁🎶✨
At St. Rose’s Girls’ R.C. School, we celebrated *African Heritage History Month* with a vibrant assembly filled with drumming, pan, and song — all powerful expressions of our African heritage.
The PTA was asked to assist with finding persons to share presentations with our students, and once again, they asked and we delivered! 💪🏽
With the support of dedicated parents and community members, our girls experienced live demonstrations, storytelling, and music that connected them to the creativity, resilience, and pride of our heritage.
Today’s celebration reminded us all that the steel pan — our *National Instrument and National Emblem — along with African drumming and song, are symbols of struggle transformed into triumph.*
We are proud to stand together as a PTA, ensuring our children learn, celebrate, and carry forward the legacy of African heritage.
✨ *Happy African Heritage History Month from the St. Rose’s Girls’ R.C. School PTA!*✨

Happy International Men's Day from the NPTA!
Today, we pause to honor the Men of our PTA who lead by example, the fathers, teachers, father figures, and male volunteers in our PTA and School community.
International Men’s Day is guided by six Key Pillars, and looking around our community, we see exactly how our dads uphold them every single day:
1. To Promote Positive Male Role Models: By showing our students that "heroes" aren't just in movies, they are the dads who show up to meetings, help with homework, and support the school.
2. To Celebrate Men’s Positive Contributions: Whether it’s moving heavy furniture for an event, managing finances, or simply offering a guiding hand, your contributions build the foundation of our community.
3. To Focus on Men’s Health and Wellbeing: By being active and present, you model the importance of social and emotional health to your children, showing them that being "strong" also means being connected and supported.
4. To Highlight Discrimination Against Men: You break the stereotypes and barriers that suggest nurturing and school involvement are only for women. You prove that caregiving has no gender.
5. To Improve Gender Relations and Promote Gender Equality: You work side-by-side with mothers and female teachers as equal partners in education, demonstrating true teamwork and respect to the next generation.
6. To Create a Safer, Better World: Every minute you invest in a children's education contributes to a brighter, safer future for everyone.
To the men of the PTA and all the fathers in our circle: We see you, we support you, and we salute you, Happy International Men’s Day 🌍
Thank you for being the pillars of our families and our school!

Happy International Men's Day!
From all of us at St. Rose's Girls' R.C. School PTA, we extend heartfelt appreciation to the fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, mentors, and male role models who uplift, guide, and inspire our girls every day.
Today, we celebrate the men who lead with integrity, nurture with compassion, and stand as pillars of strength in our homes, schools, and communities. Your presence matters. Your example shapes futures.
💙 Thank you for being protectors, providers, encouragers, and educators.
💬 Let’s continue to raise boys into men who value respect, empathy, and responsibility.
Together, we build a world where every child—girl or boy—can thrive with love and support.
