from Bright Rainbows Montessori! Today we had a little Easter brunch and the kiddies helped to decorate and set the table for their parents. They made floral arrangements for the tables and helped in food preparation, as well as serving the food.

💫🌎Happy World Read Aloud Day!📚A Read Aloud is designed to help develop vocabulary, oral language and understanding/comprehension skills. As well, we have the ability to model certain actions and behaviors by doing a Read Aloud with others.
But a Read Aloud is so much more than this- it opens up a child’s world to an infinite number of possibilities for information on an endless number of topics. Their brains are ‘sponges,’ Maria Montessori referred to this as ‘The Absorbent Mind.’ There is no limit to what you can expose your child to by reading to them. If you want to do something of immense value for your baby/child, read to them everyday, at any chance you get, read to them from stories of all kinds on multiple topics and watch them become imaginative beings, filled with knowledge and understanding. The possibilities are endless…🌎💫

✨Symbols matching quantity✨🌈Numbers are starting to have meaning and make sense in my world🌎🙌🏻Let me sit back, pause and admire the amazing work that I’ve done all by myself🌟As well as helping the child to discover that number 🔢symbols represent a quantity, Number Rods help aid in sequencing by counting and show the child that each Rod represents a unique quantity separate from the other rods. The Number Rods go up to 10, ‘The Rod of Ten’ being the longest rod🌈*This picture does not show the activity completed, just in process.*

In 2022 I fulfilled a life long dream of mine, to open my very own Montessori School. It was a dream of mine for over 15 years and thanks to the support and encouragement of some very special people in my life it was finally able to happen🌟🌈✨ Thank you for helping me to believe in myself and my dreams! Thank you to the families who have trusted me with their little ones from the very beginning, y’all truly are the best💕
