Brighton Anglican Primary School

Brighton Anglican Primary School Brighton Anglican School was established in 1946. It is situated in the village of La Brea and lies approximately 200 kilometers from the famous Pitch Lake.

Our school community relations are improving. There are many corporate bodies willing to give resources, both financially and materially, to improve our standard of performance. The P.T.A. have embarked on a number of fund-raisers which involves the participation of the students, staff and community. Our performance at the Secondary Entrance Examination and the National Test continues to improve.

Our student body is actively involved in both Agricultural and 4H competitions. We plan to expose the students to different aspect of gardening by engaging them in the planting of ornamental plants. This is one means of helping them to appreciate the environment.

'Fun Sports' is an annual event which both students and parents anticipate with joy. The school also participates in all zonal and district sports - athletics, football and cricket.
