You know you're in the Caribbean when you hear that distinct "chuck-chuck-chuck" sound from the walls at night! 🦎✨

This is the African House Gecko (Hemidactylus mabouia), famously nicknamed the Wood Slave. While they might startle you when they dart behind a picture frame, they’re actually the good guys. They spend their nights eating up mosquitoes, spiders, and roaches.
