Our country is now moving towards another year of celebrating our flag independence
As we move towards this year's celebration we should be able to also claim that we have become wiser as a people on this long trek to full independence
Currently, there is projected via most of the accessible media that there is some sort of divide among our population on the authenticity of the claim of the steel pan as our National instrument here in Republic Trinidad and Tobago
all this debate may augur well for us; as it affords us the opportunity to utilize the historical facts recorded and saved and available to us on this most important issue of cultural significance in our lives as a Nation
This also draws to our attention that these conversations carried on in the public domain very rarely makes mention of indigenous and first Nations peoples and their rights and roles in fostering National unity and advance for our two islands State.
As these discussions are engaged let the matters and issues related to REPARATIONS be brought to focus and attention
let issues of royalties owed to earlier pannists be brought to focused and addressed
let further issues of licenses for pan manufacturing be addressed
there are soo many progressive issues that can be brought into the public domain for our National attention
in the meantime let us all take stock of our lives
let's address the issues of current crimes and crimes prevention
until then let us all consider each other and our roles in building a better Nation for us all

I am slowly meandering around in cyberspace refamiliarising myself with the terrain
As I renter I find myself where our local Orisa/Alkebu-lan sacred science community has dropped its guard and some of our leaders have lost confidence in their own awon Ori as the spark of divine sacred Supreme Intelligence embodied in our own beings
we rely not on listening to the voice within but see vindication and authorization from external mundane and terrestrial sources
as I have returned here, may we all be reawakened and reempower ourselves.
It is not yet too late to regather ourselves and shape our common and collective destiny together
